Tour DescriptionIn one exceptional day you will see and experience the most extraordinaryvistas and raw nature imaginable. The Grand Canyon, a natural wonder ofthe world, is indescribably magnificent. On the way you will spend a littletime in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, pass through Oak Creek Canyonwith its massive vertical cliffs and stop for lunch at El Tovar, located at theSouth Rim of the Grand Canyon. After lunch, your guests will be able towalk around the Grand Canyon Village for some shopping and fascinatingsightseeing. After that it’s time for a relaxing and comfortable ride back toScottsdale and a chance to reflect on an epic day!

El TovarLocated in the historic El Tovar Hotel, this celebrated and majestic DiningRoom is constructed of native stone and Oregon pine. The murals on thewalls reflect the customs of four Native American Tribes – the Hopi, theApache, the Mojave and the Navajo. The ambience is rustic, but classic andtraditional. Guests such as Teddy Roosevelt, President Bill Clinton and SirPaul McCartney have dined and shared stories within these walls. The menuis traditional, integrating both international and local Southwestinfluences. Signature items such as the Prime Rib Hash at Breakfast or theSalmon Tostada at Dinner have graced the menu for decades and becometrue classics

Grand Canyon Skywalk Adventure Tour

Your Grand Canyon West Rim Skywalk Adventure begins with a scenic, narrated, 75minute flight to the Canyon West Airport, located at the west end of the GrandCanyon on the Arizona/Nevada border.

You will go from the airplane directly to a helicopter for a 10 minute ride to thefloor of the Grand Canyon. This is the only place in the entire 277 miles of theCanyon that you can go below the rim in any way besides your own two feet or amule.

Traverse a steep set of stairs to the riverside to board a pontoon boat for a 15 – 20minute, smooth water ride on the Colorado River. After, head on over to the worldfamous Skywalk. This architectural marvel extends 65 feet over the edge of theCanyon, with its 4,000 foot depth right beneath your feet. As you venture out on tothis amazing structure and look straight down through the glass floor, you can’thelp but feel like you are a part of the Grand Canyon.

The next stop on the tour will be Guano Point. This location offers one of the mostscenic places to enjoy lunch (provided with the tour) at an outdoor eating area on aplateau surrounded on three sides by the magnificent Grand Canyon. After yourlunch, enjoy a leisurely walk along a trail that extends out into the Canyonand enjoy the spectacular views and photo opportunities.

Page is a small town in northern Arizona located on thesouthern shores of magnificent Lake Powell. Thisdestination offers avid adventurers a unique look at someof the most gorgeous canyons in the world. Most ofthese canyons have only been discovered in the past fewdecades and are still being cataloged. Antelope Canyonis one of the most widely recognized and famouscanyons. The walls are an incredible example of thepower of water over the course of thousands of years –they glisten and ripple as you walk through the pathways.

Our day will begin with a flight up to Page, AZ. Guests willbe greeted by bus and taken to one of many hiking trails.Hello! Arizona will provide a docent and staff to talkabout the history of Page and the particular canyon.Many famous photographers have spent monthsphotographing the different canyons and riversthroughout this land, so be sure to bring your camera.Guests will have a chance to walk through downtownPage and have time on their own for lunch beforeheading back to Phoenix.

Arizona has a long history of gold and silver miningback in the day – but to our state, COPPER is king. Weare the only state to have multiple major coppermines all over the city. Copper still remains a majorindustry for our state today. This day trip will allowguests to look at the small towns that developed outof the gold rush. Many of these towns wereabandoned after the initial boom and have becomeghost stories and wonderful tourist stops.

Our day will begin with a trip up to Cottonwoodwhere guests have a chance to go to some of the topwine, beer and mead tasting rooms in Arizona. Theywill have some time to explore Cottonwood beforetraveling up the windy road to Jerome. We will stopfor lunch and time on own. Guests can check out theghost tours throughout the town or shop at somegreat local art galleries.
