If partial funding is received, the # of Students hired, # of weeks, hours per week or rate of pay may be modified. ** If partial funding is received and the employee fundraises the difference, this role will consist of full time hours and regular rate of pay as noted below. Fundraising training will be provided. ** Northumberland Youth Unlimited thanks all applicants, however, only those selected for interview will be contacted. SPECIFIC DUTIES Personal 1. Abide by NYU’s ministry guidelines and policies. 2. Punctuality to all commitments. 3. Recruit prayer support. Program Supervision 1. Supervise campers and work within established safe boundaries for our staff team 2. Set positive and enthusiastic examples for volunteers and campers. 3. Assist the Creative Arts Director and Day Camp Coordinator in the planning, setting and implementation of camp goals, including program curriculum and schedules for a variety of arts: a. Visual Arts Day Camp: drawing, painting, sculpting b. Theatre Arts Day Camp: set design, props, lighting, support tech. 4. Assist the Creative Arts Director and Day Camp Coordinator in the planning and preparation of a final Art Show and/or Theatre Production for families and community members, which will showcase what the campers have learned at camp. 5. Prepare and lead physical activity sessions (Body Break) for the campers. General Camp Duties 1. Be responsible for the volunteers and campers under your care. a. Know where campers are at all times. b. Ensure a safe, respectful, and fun environment. c. Be familiar with campers’ allergies and other special needs.
