The purpose of this exercise is to develop the skill of working with others when you may not always agree
with their ideas.

list two or three of your favorites in each category:
Soft Drinks Movies Sports
Books Food Games
Ice Cream School Subjects
Musical Chairs
◦Move around until the music stops. ◦Find a seat that is close to where you are. ◦There are plenty of seats, so make sure we are safe!!

◦Your task now is to try to reach agreement on one item for each category as a team “favorite.”
◦Your team favorite may not necessarily be your own first choice.
◦Write your agreed upon choice for as many categories as you can and list the ones you could not agree on.
◦Be prepared to report on your negotiations and why you made them.
