Da Wan Lai The Poets Story

Once upon a time there was a young couple with a very big

dream to open a beautiful restaurant. They dreamed that it

would be so beautiful in fact. That people would come from far

and wide to see it.

It was called Da Wan Lai and was named after a poem written

by a very famous and wise man known as Mister Bai.

There is a layer of warmth

on my freshly made rice wine

Its heating slowly in the clay pot on the fire.

Outside its cold and windy, it's darkening quickly with the

promise of snow.

Would you like to come in for a drink my friend?

Finding my hidaway by the fire glow.

In this poem Mister Bai speaks of a cold and snowy night and

invites an old friend to join him for a hot cup of wine in

his cosy little hideaway.

And with this little tale. "The Poets" was born.

It is a magical place that will both inspire and feel like home.
