David Martin Receives Lee Burge Servant Leadership Award Dr. David Martin, Executive Director, was presented with the Georgia Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy’s first ever “Lee Burge Servant Leadership Award” at the organization’s annual meeting on December 3, 2015. The award was named for Lee Burge, Chairman and CEO of Equifax and the first Chairman of the Georgia Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy. As a Servant Leader, Lee Burge was described as being “blessed with wisdom, integrity, and other character strengths which he used to give back to others, whether it was to his family, his church or his community.” “David, like Lee, has learned and appreciated every one of his life experiences and used their lessons to better himself and every environment in which he is engaged,” says Nancy Schwartzmiller, Executive Director of the Georgia Consortium, “all while always respecting everyone around him regardless of their status or title. David is a friend and mentor to all who call upon him for his help. He sees the world through the eyes of a servant, ready to encourage and serve however and wherever he is called.”
