viruses, worms, Trojans and other malware.The software can scan both conventional emailtraffic (SMTP and POP3 protocols) and web traffic(HTTP and FTP), and can open over 700 types ofarchived and compressed attachments.

Spam Protection uses multiple detection methods,including text analysis, sender address verific-ation, realtime blackhole lists, whitelists, black-lists, and graylists to pinpoint spam types whileminimizing false positives.

Surf Protection can block access to over 20 millionweb sites organized into 58 categories.Sophisticated categorization techniques and

rechecking 100,000 URLs daily ensure accurateand up-to-date classification.
