Frau Olbrich, was ist die Botschaft der Christmasworld 2015?Es ist die stimmige Inszenierung, die heute zum Kauf anregt. Das Trend-Leitmotiv „Stories to be told“ passt hervorragend zu dieser Entwicklung und setzt Maßstäbe für den Point of Sale. Die Christmasworld versteht sich als Ideengeber für trendgerechte Sortimente, aber auch für stimmungsvolle Dekora tionen, die Kunden anziehen.

Rückt der Kunde im Handel stärker in den Fokus?Unsere Angebote – die der Aussteller wie auch das Rah-menprogramm – sollen vor allem die Kundenfrequenz im stationären Handel stärken, zum mit allen Sinnen erfahr-baren Shopping-Erlebnis anregen, insbesondere zur umsatzstarken Weihnachtszeit. Mit über 920 Ausstellern aus 39 Ländern zeigen wir, wie Handel und Kunden davon profitieren können – ein großartiger Vorteil gegenüber dem eher nüchternen Online-Shopping.

Welche Angebote spielen dabei eine wichtige Rolle?Als Erstes natürlich unsere Trendschau, inszeniert vom Stilbüro bora.herke.palmisano, auf die ich schon sehr gespannt bin: nach wie vor die unangefochtene Inspirati-onsquelle für kommende Farben und Materialien. Gegen-über zeigt das „Ice Hotel“ imposante Groß-, Außenflächen- und Schaufensterdekorationen. Und dann unsere Wettbe-werbe: Decoration Star, Weihnachtlicher Gartenmarkt und – ganz neu – Best Christmas City, die die Leidenschaft für Dekorationen spiegeln und fördern. Wichtige Business-Tipps gibt es im Forum. So geht man gestärkt ins neue Geschäftsjahr.

Was sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen?Es fällt mir schwer, mich zu beschränken. Ich freue mich auf das Komplett-Angebot an Emotion und Business auf fünf Hallenebenen – und den direkten Austausch mit Aus-stellern, Besuchern und Partnern. In diesem Sinne: Auf eine gute neue Geschäftssaison!

is simple: stories about the products will sell. Director Eva Olbrich

explains what this means, and wishes all an enjoyable and success-

ful trade fair visit.

Ms Olbrich, what is the Christmasworld 2015 message?It is the atmospheric staging that stimulates purchasing in today’s world. The trend leitmotif "Stories to be told" per-fectly complements this development, and sets standards for the point of sale. Christmasworld is known as an idea stimulator for both trend-compliant ranges and for atmo-spheric decorations that attract customers.

Is the customer more and more the centre of focus in the retail trade?Our offers, both those of the exhibitors and the framework programme, will in particular increase customer frequen-cy in stationary retail, to stimulate shopping experiences with all the senses, and especially for the high-sales Christmas period. With more than 920 exhibitors from 39 countries, we demonstrate how the retail trade and cus-tomers can benefit from this – an excellent advantage over the more ‘sober’ online shopping.

What offers play an important role here?Firstly, of course, there is our trend show, staged by the bora.herke.palmisano style office, which I am very much looking forward to! It is, as it was, the unchallenged source of inspiration for coming colours and materials. The “Ice Hotel”, by contrast, illustrates imposing large, outdoor area and shop window decorations. And then, there are our competitions: Decoration Star, Christmas Garden Market and, totally new, Best Christmas City, which reflect and promote the passion for decorations. You will find impor-tant business tips in the forum. You can then greet the new business year with confidence.

What should we be sure not to miss?It’s hard for me to isolate any one thing! I’m looking for-ward to the complete offering of emotion and business on five hall levels – and the direct exchange between exhibi-tors, visitors and partners of course. So, with that in mind: Here’s to a great new business season!

So kommen nun auch Gäste, die sich vegan ernähren möchten, in den Genuss von Andreas Kroliks 2-Sterne-Küche. Im Tiger- Gourmetrestaurant erwarten Sie z. B. Bunte Rübchen und Herbsttrompeten-ravioli mit Pilzbouillon, Kräuteröl, Pumpernickelchips und Röstzwiebeln.

Wichtig ist es Andreas Krolik, das hohe Niveau des Tiger-Gourmetrestau-rants beizubehalten, das heißt, es muss in erster Linie ihn selbst überzeugen. Dies benötigte am Anfang viel Geduld und viele Experimente. Heute verwendet Andreas Krolik Sellerie und Tomate als natürliche Geschmacksverstärker und statt Butter werden Öle eingesetzt.
