up to be marvelled at 2,600 metres up into the air. Hannibal took on the legendary journey in 218 BC when with

an army of 60,000 Africans, Celts, Spaniards, thousands of horses and 37 elephants he dared to cross

the glacier in just ten days. He advanced victoriously all the way to Rome and still moves us today with this adventurous

and mystical story.
