Previously, this was only possible from an Analyzer Storyboard. • User defined thumbnails A simple right-click on the Playhead lets you use the cur- rent frame for the thumbnail image to represent the video clip in the Library or on dartfish.tv. The Import From Camcorder tool can now merge many clips into one during import. • InTheAction once again allows simultaneous capture from 2 camcorders, now also in HD format. • Create slow-motion movies The Analyzer lets you save a movie of your Storyboard at a choice of play speeds. > SUPPORT FOR NEW VIDEO FORMATS AND TECHNICAL ENHANCEMENTS Dartfish continues to add to its support for video file formats created by the latest video devices. Different im- plementations of MPEG2 and MPEG4 used by devices such as mobile phones, solid state camcorders (eg. Cisco Flip) and still cameras (eg. Canon 500D, Nikon D90 and Casio Elixim High Speed, which create video) all have their own technical demands. As an example, graphics card memory is now used more efficiently and the performance and sta- bility of using HDV camcorders with InTheAction has been improved. > BETTER VIDEO BASED PRESENTATIONS When using a data projector or screen sharing software, a common problem is video not appearing on both the computer screen and projected image. Dartfish now offer a choice of using VMR9 video render technology to avoid this. The default setting remains VMR7 for backward compatibility with older computers but the setting can be modified in the advanced options. > A WIDER DARTFISH WORLD Launch of a brand new edition : Dartfish Classroom Plus.
