In this establishing shot we are able to see a fast pace zooming in on a set of buildings with a glass window being broken. From this we are able to become suspicious about what and why the window has been broken.

From this next shot we see a high angle shot with the men who’ve broken the window. This shot builds suspicion due to the fact that the men are wearing masks but we don’t know what for, presumably for a heist or robbery of some sought.

Here we go from a long shot through to a close up zoomed onto the mask before the man enters the car. This seems unusual due to the fact that he has the masked out and if it’s out why isn’t he wearing the mask. From what has been seen would follow the genre that it’s trying to portray.

From here we see the man (one in back of car) has put is mask probably to hide an identity. The loading of the gun and the masks themselves can both be thought of symbols and codes that the audience have to breakdown in the film. At this stage there is a mixture of diegetic sound (police sirens) and non-diegetic sound being used to create and build an atmosphere for the audience.

As the men enter the bank a tracking shot is used whilst they enter along with a low angle shot and then that of a mid-shot from once they’ve entered what we can presume maybe a bank or building of interest to these men.

The use of this over the shoulder shot is to represent to the audience the sudden reaction of the employees and how scared they are about what is happening. It shows that the employees are powerless to the men.

This long shot is also used to represent and reiterate that tracking is being used to make the situation seemed rushed along with the speed and the amount of editing that has been done to make this follow a continuous and logical pattern.

In this mid-shot it is representing that all of the men involved are all technically against each other in order for them to get a larger share of money. In this we see that the man in the purple/blue jacket deems to be in control of a situation that he himself is unaware of.

From the long shot we see that the man to right of the shot has been aware of everything going on and has almost orchestrated this heist without himself getting caught or killed in the process. For the audience they now have to try and work out who and why this heist has needed to happen.
