Concrete Epoxy Flooring

A Wine Cellar in Darien

We were asked to match the color

from a piece of leather

After patching cracks and holes we begin to apply a first color coat of epoxy

Page 5: Darien Wine Cellar

With a stone wall in place precision “cutting in” was really necessary

Page 6: Darien Wine Cellar

We then rolled out the color coat. Notice the patches in the concrete

Page 7: Darien Wine Cellar

With the first color coat in place the patches are still noticeable

Page 8: Darien Wine Cellar

To seal and level the floor we applied a clear coat.

Page 9: Darien Wine Cellar

Once the clear coat hardened we applied the final colorNotice how the application looks pink

Page 10: Darien Wine Cellar

Even though the floor had a beautiful reflective qualityThe imperfections could still be seen through the clear coat

The final coat – notice how the color is pink.
