We met at the American Corner Tunis for coffee and a chat with our friends from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

We had an engaging chat about education and diversity. It was still fun and thought-provoking.

We also had rising writers present their on-going projects. Adnen Belhadj presenting his book project on the geopolitics of the Tunisian uprising of

2011.

We took turns answering questions and sharing our thoughts.

Dar Barca is a startup promoting Tunisian literature overseas by making it available on the kindle platform in French and English.

Dar Barca has recently launched its Literary Cafe to encourage rising

and aspiring writers to meet and talk with each other about theircultural and literary interests. Dar Barca's Literary Cafe meets onceevery month around coffee and reading of novice writers or literary

bloggers to talk about (non-) fiction in English orFrench.
