Bonus # 1 Halloween Safety Tips

Wear comfortable shoes if you’re going to do a lot of walking on Halloween night. This will help prevent blisters or sore feet.

Be careful with make-up. It can cause allergic reactions for

some people.

Make sure you’re able to see if you wear a mask. This could

prevent falls and running into things.

Stay with a group of people. Keep a trusted adult near. This will

help keep you safe from strangers.

Examine/ check all candy before you eat it. Make sure it has

not been opened or tampered with. Don’t eat homemade treats from strangers. This will help you avoid eating something dangerous.

Be visible so you’ll be seen by cars. Use a flashlight, glow

sticks, wear reflective tape and reflective stickers. This will help you from getting hit by a car.

Look both ways before you cross the street. This will help you

from getting hit by a car.

Limit the amount of candy you eat. This will prevent you from

getting sick.

Brush your teeth. This will help prevent cavities.
