CONFORMITY - is a type of social influence involving a change in belief or behavior in order to fit in with a group.Conformity can also be simply

defined as “yielding to group pressures”.  Group pressure may take different forms, for example bullying, persuasion, teasing, criticism, etc.  Conformity is also known as majority influence (or group pressure).

OBEDIENCE - in human behavior, is a form of "social influence in which a person yields to explicit instructions or orders from an authority figure"

Obedience is generally distinguished from compliance, which is behavior influenced by peers, and from conformity, which is behavior intended to match that of the majority.

Social control - is a concept that refers to the ways in which people’s thoughts, feelings, appearance, and behavior are regulated in social systems. One way this is done is through coercion, from imprisoning those who commit a crime to physicians administering drugs that make difficult patients more manageable. Social control, however, is mainly done through socialization in which people come to identify with a social system and its values and norms, thereby acquiring a stake in maintaining those values and norms.
