Structured for Success

• All AMB students are assigned to the one advisor

• Take one (8 week) class each session Taking 1 class at a time prevents you being overloaded with your full work schedule and saves you money!

• For employer reimbursement, NU is able to defer payment for KY FAME companies employees until 7th week of the course

Structured for Success

• Northwood tuition is structured for KY FAME companies and AMTs at a lower rate than the standard rate.

• Classes will initially be online. Attempts will be made so that AMB’s will be scheduled with the same instructor.

• Almost all of your AMT program credit is counted toward your bachelor’s degree (60 hours).

• Just keep up the well structured pace and soon enough you arrive at your bachelor’s degree!

Note About the Degree and the Advanced Manufacturing Career Pathways

• A very significant additional component of Lean Manufacturing will be incorporated into this degree in the near future (12-18 months). This option may be available before you begin you major area courses.

• Combined with the 5 Lean courses in AMT (the MCE’s), the Lean component in this AMB/ BS degree, and the a Masters Certificate in Lean, we believe that the AMB Program offers the strongest Lean education in the U.S.
