I am Senior Economist for Dun & Bradstreet’s Country Risk Service team. I provide clients with in-depth analysis and forecasts for the European economy via D&B’s monthly and quarterly reports, topical research notes, and custom, in-person presentations. In addition, I also collaborate with the Advanced Analytics team at D&B on innovative micro-to-macro projects that leverage proprietary micro data to produce unique macroeconomic insight.

As part of D&B’s Country Risk Services team, economic research and analysis of macro trends in several Western and Central European economies to advise clients on macro-economic developments and their impact on the business environment.

Part of the team that produces D&B’s Country Risk Rating, a measure of the operational risk facing D&B’s clients through in-depth analysis of economic, sovereign, commercial and political risks, and trading across multiple geographic markets. The country risk scores are complemented with in-depth written analysis through our Country Insight Reports, Country Insight Snapshots and International Risk and Payment Review, covering 132 countries globally.

Macroeconomic forecasts with E-views for major currencies and exchange rates: Vector Autoregression VAR, Time Series analysis, ARDL, Panel Data.

Authoring ad-hoc research papers, including, role of exchange rates in supporting exports growth; relation between consumer confidence and household spending; and impact of Brexit on the EU in the short- and long-term.

Built and managed growth cycle-based composite leading indicator (CLI) for the UK economy, currently used as an important marketing tool to enhance Dun and Bradstreet’s brand awareness on the market.

Developed a number of economic (and revenue-generating) indicators using Dun and Bradstreet’s extensive database of proprietary data.

Authoring UK quarterly industry report - a comprehensive report on the UK economy and industry with sectorial analyses and forecasts.

Regular speaker at various D&B forums and client conferences where he presents D&B's Western Europe economic outlook.

Information is to be communicated to clients, members of the media, PR and executive leadership through written reports and oral presentations.

Producing in-depth research pieces on topical economic, market and political issues. Past topics includes: Economic implications of the quantitative easing for the euro zone; Analysis of credit availability in the euro zone; Implications of zero nominal interest rates; Evaluating the Spanish housing market.
