‘Thank you & Welcome

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new students and thank our existing. Together we have (still are) creating a wonderful dance school. I am so proud of how far we have come in such a short time.

The progression of the students this term (yep, and its only week three) has been mind blowing! Well done! Not only are the skills of our dancers constantly on the rise – but the vibe at the studio is second to none… it’s a happy place to be… for everyone. Thank you – lets keep it this way! THE SNOW QUEEN Our production of The Snow Queen will be performed on Sunday, November 30th, at Founders Theatre. The only students not involved in this production are those littlies in our IMAGINE PROGRAM. Everyone else is in! More detailed information will be emailed via our CONCERT INFO BOOK, within the next couple of weeks…don’t be frightened away by this epic booklet! The intention is that it covers most questions – of course there will always be more!

We want to produce a quality show which ensures our students are challenged and performing at their peak …BUT I also like to try and stay as cool as a cucumber(?). I live and love dance and the performance means a lot to me; BUT we need to remind ourselves to keep our feet on the ground and a level head throughout the process…this should be a FUN and POSITIVE experience for all. That includes staff, parents, students and audience members. At the end of the day we are working with children and for many, this is their first experience to be involved in a performance of this scale, it’s huge, we must make it a nice memory.

Flash Mob

Welcome Kirily Kirily was born in Melbourne and grew up in Creswick. She started in theatre at the age of five, performing with Vertex, JAPE, and the Creswick Theatre Company. With these groups, she learnt acting, singing, movement, and tap dancing. Kirily has also performed with the Australian Shakespeare Company at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne in two of their Young Bard productions, As You Like It (2012) and Much Ado About Nothing (2013). After doing Drama in VCE, Kirily completed a Certificate IV in Theatre Arts followed by a Diploma of Events. She is also working at Sovereign Hill as a Mine Guide. She loves all forms of theatre, particularly Shakespeare, and is very excited at becoming involved with Dancemakers.

I would like to welcome our newest team member

– Kirily Greenbank. You may come across Kirily – she will be assisting with the administration, and

production management . Kirily is also training to become an IMAGINE

instructor – cant wait to open some more classes for our toddlers! This class

is in demand!
