Your Elite Travel guide and driver will pick you up from the airport in Cusco and embark upon a guided excursion through snowcapped mountains to the legendary Sacred Valley, as majes9c today as it was during the reign of the Incas. Stop for a short explana9on at the Awana Kancha Weaving tex9le center. This living museum works with na9ve communi9es making them self-sufficient by sharing their ancient ways of weaving and processing the alpaca wool. You will love to get up close and personal to na9ve llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicunas. We will stop along the way for a good lunch. See Inca terracing that climbs the steep valley walls and the beau9ful temples of Pisac which inspire panoramic views of the jagged granite mountains. Pisac is the loca9on for one of the best tex9le markets in the Andes. Use your bargaining skills and enjoy the local culture before you reach Ollantaytambo. When we reach the ancient town of Ollantaytambo, we will prepare a hot chocolate celebra9on to share with local children. We can also share small giZs of schools supplies or warm ar9cles of clothing with them. Dinner will be prepared for us by a local family.
