Dalai Lama May Choose Not to Be Reborn
The Dalai Lama has been in exile since
1959, where he moved away from a bloody
uprising.
Since then, he has not been able to make
political peace with the Chinese government.
His move to refuse
reincarnation is a final battle to negotiate with the Chinese.
The Chinese too do not wish to have no reincarnation, but would like the current Dalai Lama to amend some of his stances which they believe are “separatist”.
With no future Dalai Lamas as the bottom line of their negotiations, Tenzin Gyatso and China are
likely to strike some sort of deal before the Dalai Lama leaves this earth.
