Through specific modification of the height adjuster, the Chauffeur‘s position on
the passenger side is made possible: It can be moved forward electrically by a
further 77mm. The noticeably larger footwell is supported by an electric
extendable footrest.

The modular design of the rear backrest structure enables a variable backrest
angle of the reclining seat on the passenger side (37° and 43,5°) and thus
offers the largest backrest angle in the premium segment.

Through the innovative solution of the collapsible folding table, a businesslike
environment is created. Through the integration of the table in the center
console, the driver’s backrest has been designed for maximum legroom.

Travelling is considerably more relaxing for the rear passenger. The noticeably
larger footwell enables a more comfortable reclining position.
For a strongly inclined back rest, a cushion bag from the occupant protection
system is raised. In the case of a head-on collision it inflates under the seat
cushion and thereby counteracts against sub-marining, the occupant slipping
under the seat belt.

Effectiveness of the hot stone: heat, massage & flexibility of the vertebrae
Within the framework of physiological seat heating, heat is applied centrally along the spinal column from tailbone through the complete backbone as far as the neck vertebrae.
While the heat and the weight of the hot stones take effect, the back, pelvis and shoulder area are massaged and have room to move.

⇒ Erection of the chest and lumbar spine
Sitting in a vehicle leads to tension in the neck and shoulder area and to arestriction of the chest area and also of breathing space. The hot stone massagefunction counteracts this.

Hot Stone Function :
• Strong seat heating centrally along the spinal column (from tail bone to the neck vertebrae)
• Central bubbles – Row behind the strong seat heating
• A row of pneumatic bubbles left and right of the central row of bubbles
• Individual activation of every bubble
Through the combination of 14 individual message bubbles and a partial quick
seat heating, a hot stone massage function on all four seats is made possible.

The driving dynamics function creates an optimal lateral support for driving in
curves. Depending on steering angle / driving speed, the seat side bolsters are
activated. The decentralized valve structure in every seat enables a fast response
and thereby provides a better relief for the occupants.
Through the high-power pump + pressure reservoir in the rear of the vehicle, the
driving dynamic function and the massage can be activated on all four seats at
the same time.

For the active seat ventilation, reversing fans are used. The rotational direction
of the fans and thus, the air route through the seat construction is reversible.
During the start of the ventilation, cooler surrounding air from the seat‘s surface
is vacuumed. After approximately four minutes, the fans are automatically set in
blowing operation in order to reduce draughts and thereby ensure lasting
comfort.
