PUBLIC NOTICEWith the medium of this Public Notice all AutoRickshaw Drivers (operators) are hereby informed touse fare Meters installed in their Auto Rickshaws andcharge the fare from the passengers as per meterreading only besides wear prescribed uniform duringplying Auto Rickshaw's. The Auto rickshaw driversgenerally take plea that fare meters are faulty shallnot be of excuse. 1. All the concerned drivers are hereby informed to wear uni-

form as per prescribed rules while driving and make useof fare meters for charging of fare fromPassengers/commuters forthwith.

2. General Public/commuters are also informed that whiletravelling in passenger (Auto Rickshaw's ) shall pay fare asper the meter reading only and in case of any inconven-ience or non co-operation by Auto operator shall contactTCU Jammu on Ph. No. 0191-2459048 & 94191-47732 ornearby Traffic officer for timely action against the erringdriver.

In view of above Auto Rickshaw drivers shall make use ofinstalled meters strictly for charging fare from passengers, incase Traffic Police shall be constrained to take action againsterring drivers under the provisions of M.V. Act.
