PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED

 

                   The Spl. Team of P.S Bharat Nagar arrested one proclaimed offender namely Afshar Khan @ Nanhe s/o Akbar Khan r/o I-725/726, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. He was declared P.O on 14.5.12 by the  Hon'ble Court of Sh. Vishal Pahuja, M.M Tis Hazari Court in complaint case No. 359/01 u/s 138 NI Act P.S Sabzi Mandi, Delhi. ASI Naresh Rana received a secret information about the presence of proclaimed offender Afshar Khan in the area of Jahangir Puri, Delhi. He laid a trap and apprehended him from Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

ONE CHEAT ALONGWITH TWO JUVENILES APPREHENDED

INTRODUCTION :

          Mahendra Park police of North West District has arrested one cheater namely Anil and apprehended juveniles within 48 hours for cheating a lady and her brother-in-law with an assurance of reservation ticket in train. The cheated property i.e. one suitcase containing clothes, laptop bag, one ATM card, wrist watch, gold jewelry (Mangal Sutra, ear rings, silver pyjeb) and one mobile phone have been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT :

On 16.02.13, one lady complainant approached the Police Station Mahendra Park and reported that while she along with her brother-in-law was going to her native place Bihar, three persons cheated them on the assurance of providing railway reservation from Adarsh Nagar. They hired an auto from Mangol Puri and came at Sarai Pipal Thala near Peer Baba Mazar where the alleged persons represented themselves known and working in the office of T.T.E. and assured that confirmed tickets will be provided. After that one person took complainant’s brother-in-law away from there on the pretext of getting tickets. After some time, one of them came back and said to the complainant that her brother-in-law was calling her. They managed befool the complainant and took her away from there. After going some distance, the boy going with her vanished. Further, complainant noticed that her brother-in-law was returning without ticket. After that neither those persons nor their luggage (carrying one suitcase containing gold jewelry, clothes, two ATM cards and cash Rs. 1700/-, and one laptop bag, one luggage bag contain other clothes) could be

traced. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 44/13 u/s 420/120-B/34 IPC PS Mahendra Park was registered and investigation was taken up.

POLICE TEAM:

          A team of following Police officers was constituted under the close supervision of SHO/Mahendra Park, Inspr. Rajender Dubey who worked hard and solved the said case:

        1.           SI Anoop Singh, P.S. Mahendra Park,  Delhi.

        2.           HC Ramlakhan No. 1799/NW P.S. Mahendra Park, Delhi.

        3.           HC Anil Kumar No. 1277/NW P.S. Mahendra Park, Delhi.

        4.           Ct. Manoj NO. 2371/NW P.S. Mahendra Park, Delhi.

        INVESTIGATION :

Based on a secret information, the constituted team conducted a raid and apprehended two Juveniles who had committed the said offence. They admitted the involvement in the offence along with their accomplice Anil s/o Phekan Raut r/o C-115, Samai Puri Badli Extn., Delhi.  Thereafter, Anil was arrested from Samai Pur Badli Extension residence. At their instance, one suitcase containing clothes, laptop bag, one ATM card, wrist watch, gold jewelry(Mangal Sutra, ear rings, silver pyjeb) and one mobile phone allegedly involved in crime have been recovered from their possession.

Further investigation is on to recover the remaining stolen property.

BURGLAR ARRESTED               

                     With the arrest of one burglar  namely Jai Siya Ram @ Tinku s/o Lt. Dharambir r/o C-854, Jahangir Puri, Delhi , the Special Staff of North-West District has worked out two cases of burglary.  He is a History Sheetor of PS Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

 

INCIDENT:

                   With a view to keep check on the incidents of snatching/burglary incidents and to nab the criminals involved in such incidents, team of  Special Staff of North-West District had been sensitized to develop information about active criminals.  A team comprising of SI Rajeev Ranjan, HC Anil, HC Vinod, Ct Sreepal, Ct Dipesh under close supervision of Insp Shyam Sunder, I/C Special Staff/NWD and overall supervision of Sh. Aas Mohd., ACP/Ops/NWD developed information about one active snatcher/burglar Jai Siya Ram and on 17.2.13, at about 8:00 PM working on a secret information, this team apprehended him. Since the apprehended accused was very clever he was subjected to sustain interrogation. He confessed his involvement in two burglary incidents committed in the area of West and East District.

AUTO LIFTER ARRESTED

                     With the arrest of  one notorious auto lifter namely Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay S/o Ram Parkash r/o H.No. 3864 Gali No. 104 Sant Nagar Burari Delhi in FIR No. 39/13 Dated 05/2/2013, u/s 379/411 IPC & 102 Cr.P.C. PS Kashav Puram, North West Distt. Delhi, the Anti Auto Theft Squad of North-West District has recovered  (04) stolen vehicles on his instances and one Lal Singh s/o Budh Ram R/O 5/519 Sangam Vihar, P.S BURARI, Delhi, a  receiver of stolen property has also been arrested. 

INCIDENT:-

West District had been sensitized and vehicle checking had also been intensified in the area of North-West District.  On 18.2.13, a secret information was received that one person would come on a stolen motor cycle and would go towards JJ colony Shakurpur Saffeda Picket Saraswati Vihar. On this information a team of A.A.T.S. comprising of the officials mention below laid a trap at road near Saffeda Picket Saraswati Vihar and apprehended one youth with one pulsor motor cycle number DL10-SA-3057.  Later on, the youth has been identified as mentioned above.  He was asked to produce the papers of the said motor cycle which he could not produce.  The engine and chassis numbers of the said vehicle were verified from AUTO MATCH and ZIP NET, and it was found that the said vehicle is stolen vide FIR No.39/13.Dated 05/2/2013, u/s 379/411 IPC & 102 Cr.P.C. PS Kashav Puram, North West Distt. Delhi. Subsequently he was arrested in said noted case.

INTERROGATION:

                   On sustained interrogation accused Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay revealed that  he used to steal vehicles from different parts of Delhi and outside Delhi. He used to sell the same to defferent-2 persons. One Wagon R car which was stolen from the area of PS Tilak Nagar Delhi sold to one Lal Singh in Sangam park Jhroda Delhi.The same has been recovered on the instance of accuse Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay from the possession of Lal Singh S/o Budh Ram R/o 5/519 Gali No. 5 Jarodha Delhi,The car is found to be stolen from PS Tilak Nagar Vide Fir No.276/12 dt.22/12/12 u/s 379 IPC Delhi and further two more cars Maruti Car no.HR-01F-7592 & Maruti Car no. HP-18-1128  have also been recovered on the instance of accuse Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay, these cars are found stolen from the jurisdiction of PS Ambala Cantt.Haryana

INVESTIGATION :-

                   On further interrogation, the accused Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay disclosed that that he can recovered other stolen motor cycles and its parts which he has concealed in the bushes along with pusta of village Jagat Pur Delhi after dissembling the stolen motor cycles he used to sell the parts of the stolen motor cycles by replacing the same in genuine motor cycles and selling remaining parts to the Kabaries.

 MODUS OPERANDI

                   Accused Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay used to receive the stolen vehicle from a gang of auto lifter who used to steal vehicles from residential areas of Delhi & out of Delhi.  He has involved in 54 cases of auto theft cases of Delhi and Haryana previously.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON

Bharat Bhushan @ Sanjay studied upto 5th class from Delhi and belongs to a poor family.  He is addicted to liquor and gambling.  He started crime of auto lifting for quick and easy money.  He has involved in 54 cases of auto theft cases of Delhi and Haryana previously.  He was declared P.O. in two cases i.e. FIR No. 367/08 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Saraswati Vihar, Delhi and case FIR No. 117/08 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi.   Proceeding of 82/83 Cr.P.C. is also running against him in 10 cases including 4 cases  of North-West District.His main area of operation is  WestDisstt.,North,North West, Centre and Newdelhi Distt. He also operates in the area of Ambala. Karnal,and Kurukshertra of Haryana. He came out of jail in September,2012.Once out of jail he again started committing crime of auto thefts.   

 

                     The Concerned Police Stations have been informed about their involvements/arrest. Their other incidents are being verified and sincere efforts are being made to recover the other vehicles.

                            Dedicated PO Staff of PS Greater Kailash – I, South East District has

arrested two absconding criminal namely 1) Vijay (32 years) S/o Late Sh. Nageshwar

Sharma R/o Village Bamangama, PS Bihariganj Distt. Madhepura Bihar and 2) Pankaj

Kumar (30 Years) S/o Sh. Baleshwar Ram R/o D – 397 Shakur pur Delhi, Permanent

address: Village Balwai PS Gawalpara Distt. Madhepura Bihar. Who were declared

proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 824/01 u/s 366/342/376/506/34 IPC vide order

dated 18.03.04 PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. 

INCIDENTS/BRIEF FACTS:

                            On 31.12.2001 complainant/victim lodged the complaint alleging

therein that she along with her husband and son was residing in the area of Lajpat Nagar.

Her husband was having tehbazari and selling clothes in weekly markets. The accused

Vijay was also residing with them. But due to cheating of Rs. 7000/- with her husband he

was asked to go from there 26 January 2001 thereby he was having hatred against them.

On 17.9.2001 when she along with her son was going to throw garbage etc towards super

bazaar side. Accused Vijay along with his brother Ashok and one more person namely

Pankaj was standing there. Suddenly Vijay had put handkerchief on her mouth and she

along with her son was kidnapped and taken to some unknown place, she alleged that she

was raped and threatened. After two days they have taken her to Bihar by train and left

there at murliganj railway station and runway from there, thereby a case FIR No. 824/01

u/s 366/342/376/506/34 IPC PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi was registered and

investigation was taken up. The accused person were absconding and hiding themselves

hence they were got declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 824/01 u/s

366/342/376/506/34 IPC vide order dated 18.03.04 PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi by the

Hon’ble Court.

TEAM/INVESTIGATION:

                            A team comprising of HC Anil Kumar No. 1444/SE and Sunil Panwar

No. 1433/ SE was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Sheelwant Singh Insp/ATO

PS GK – I, to apprehend proclaimed offenders.  The team identified the accused 1) Vijay

(32 years) S/o Late Sh. Nageshwar Sharma R/o Village Bamangama, PS Bihariganj Distt.

Madhepura Bihar and 2) Pankaj Kumar S/o Sh. Baleshwar Ram R/o D – 397 Shakur pur

Delhi, Permanent address: Village Balwai PS Gawalpara Distt. Madhepura Bihar and

started working for apprehension of absconding accused, which finally brought good

results. An input was received that the accused Vijay (32 years)  who was absconding and

declared PO in case FIR No. 824/01 u/s 366/342/376/506/34 IPC PS Lajpat Nagar, New

Delhi vide order dated 18.03.04,  is working in the area of Main road, Gudri bazaar,

Bihariganj, Madhepura Bihar.  Accordingly, the team was sent there with due permission

of senior officers, which developed information and kept on chasing the movements of

accused Vijay, with the help of informer. Finally on 14.02.2013 accused Vijay was

arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court of CJM Madhepura, Bihar, and hon’ble

court was pleased to grant the transition remand till 18.02.2013 for production in the

concerned court at Saket court New Delhi. Further information was received that the

another accused Pankaj Kumar who was absconding and declared PO in case FIR No.

824/01 u/s 366/342/376/506/34 IPC PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi vide order dated

18.03.04,  is coming in the area of Main road, opposite Samarat Cinema, Sakarpur Delhi. 

Accordingly, the team was deployed there, which developed information and kept on

chasing the movements of accused Pankaj Kumar, with the help of informer. Finally on

18.02.2013 accused Pankaj Kumar was arrested also and produced before the Hon’ble

Court, Saket, New Delhi.

GANG USING LUXURY CARS BUSTED:

43 CARTONS OF LIQUOR RECOVERED IN TWO CARS:

THREE PERSONS ARRESTED

 

                        The staff of Police Station Mundka, West District has continued their drive against illicit liquor suppliers during Police Week. Now they have arrested one DTC conductor (Temp.) and two property dealers namely Yogesh, Deepak and Rajender, using luxury cars for supply/taking of liquor. They were taking huge amount of liquor in two Cars DL 4C J 2764 and HR 26 F 1812. A total of 43 cartons (total 2124 quarters) have been recovered.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED

1.                  Yogesh S/o Laxmi Naraian R/o Pole No.103, Behind Badi Chaupal, Mundka, age 23 years. He is working temporary conductor in DTC (Inderprasth Depot).

2.                  Deepak S/o Jagat Singh R/o VPO Nillothi PS Bahadurgarh District Jhajjar, Haryana, age 27 years. (Dealing in Property)

3.                  Rajender Singh S/o Sahab Singh R/o VPO Ladravan PS Bahadur Garh District Jhajjar, Haryana, age 30 years. (Dealing in Property)

RECOVERY MADE

1.                  20 Cartons in Car No. DL 4C J 2764 (total 1000 quarters).

2.                  23 Cartons in Car no. HR 26 F 1812 (Total 1124 quarters).

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST

                        After a major recovery of 66 cartons in a Truck on the night intervening 16/17.02.13, the other staff of PS Mundka was briefed by Insp. Raj Kumar to show specific performance. They were also told about the tactics to develop information about criminals. The hard work and motivation again brought

result. On 19.02.13, HC Satender 409/W along with Ct. Davender 1656/W, Ct. Sunder Lal, No. 654/W and Ct. Sandeep No. 1138/W were in patrolling when they got an information about two cars bringing illicit liquor in Delhi. The information was shared with SHO Mundka. The staff cordoned the area by putting Barricades near Indian Oil Petrol Pump Rohtak Road. At about 12:45 PM, two cars were noticed on coming from Bahdurgarh which were stopped by the team through barricades. One Lancer Car bearing no. DL 4C J 2764 was being driven by Yogesh and the maruti Car No. HR 26 F 1812 was being driven by Deepak while Rajender was sitting in the maruti Car. All the three persons in the cars were overpowered. A formal inspection of cars was made. There were 20 Cartons in the Lancer Car, each carton was containing 50 quarters of Special Narangi Brand while there were 23 cartons in the Maruti Car. Out of this 23 cartons, 13 cartons were of NV Besto Whisky (each containing 48 quarters) while the 10 cartons were of Rasila Santra (each containing 50 quarters). A total no. of 2124 quarters were recovered. In accordance to recovery of illicit liquor in both cars, a case FIR No. 39/13 U/S- 33, 38 Excise Act PS Mundka was registered and further investigation was taken up by HC Ramesh Chander, 389/W of PS Mundka. All the three persons have been arrested in the case. The illicit liquor as well as both cars have also been seized.

INTERROGATION AND INVESTIGATION         

                        During interrogation Yagesh disclosed that he has been working as DTC Conductor (temp.) while the other two are property dealers. They were not satisfied with their present incomes from their professions, they indulged in the supply of illicit liquor to live a lavish life style. Keeping in view the coming festival season of Holi, they decided to bring the liquor in several trips in Car to make a big stock till Holi, but they did not so and the alert staff of PS Mundka has blackened their Holi.               

            Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

b.    And whereas, preservation of peace and tranquillity in and around the examination centre is considered essential for orderly conduct of the examination.

 

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by virtue of Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (No.2 of 1974) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U - 11036/1/2010-UTL dated 09/09/2010, I, Satish Yadav, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sub-Division Punjabi Bagh of West District do hereby prohibit the following activities within 500 meters of the boundary of any examination centre for Central Board of Secondary Education Examination-2013 from 01.03.2013 to 17.04.2013 during the forenoon and afternoon sessions, entire jurisdiction of Sub-Division Punjabi Bagh, West District, Delhi.

 

              I.        Carrying of any arms, cudgels, swords, bludgeons, guns, knives, sticks, or   lathies or any other articles which are capable of being used for causing physical violence.

            II.        Carrying of any corrosive substance or explosive.

           III.        Carrying, collection or preparation of stones or other missiles or instruments or means of casting or impelling missiles.

          IV.        Raising of any slogans or loud voice facilitating copying in exam from outside the hall.

            V.        Exhibition of placard/ banners.

          VI.        Usage of photo-copiers which could be used for facilitating unfair means during the timings of the examination, and.

         VII.        Use of loudspeakers to be prohibited.

 

4.   In exercise of powers vested in me under section 144 Cr.PC, I also prohibit any assembly or procession within the above specified area and timing excepting assembly of bonafide students going for appearing in examination.

 

      5.  In exercise of powers conferred upon me under section 144 Cr.PC, I also prohibit the use of   loudspeaker within one kilometre of any examination centre.

1.       Whereas, a large number of complaints are being received that people purchasing liquor from liquor vends often start consuming the same in front of the liquor vend itself or at other public places. Vendors selling eatables and juices, at times, also station themselves unauthorizedly outside liquor vends which further facilitates this undesirable activity. Sometimes, ‘Baratis’ of marriage processions also openly drink liquor etc. on the roads while the Barats are moving. Drinking in public is a nuisance with a serious potential to result in brawls and quarrels causing serious injuries / death and damage to public and private property. This affects the peace and tranquillity of the area and creates problems in maintaining law and order. It is also a punishable offence under section 40 of The Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2010)

2. And whereas, it is necessary to take speedy measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life or safety and to thwart/prevent un-toward incidents which may affect the peace and tranquillity of the area.

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the virtue of Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (No. 02 of 1974) read with Govt. Of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U-11036/1/2008 UTL, dated 26/11/2008, I, Vinit Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sub-Division Tilak Nagar of West District do hereby make this written order to do the following, for strict compliance by the owners of such liquor vends in the jurisdiction of Sub-division Tilak Nagar, West District:-

a. Install CCTVs with sufficient numbers of Camera and recording system with play back facility, to cover up to 50 meters area in front of the shop. The CCTV should monitor anyone consuming liquor, facilitating consumption of liquor or any unauthorized vender stationed in the coverage area.

b. The recording system shall preserve a digital record of CCTV coverage for not less than 10 days.

c. The vend owner or his agent shall cause to copy the CCTV coverage on a CD and hand over to the police whenever demanded.

d. Before starting sales for the day, the manager of the liquor vend should ensure that the CCTV system is in a proper working order and in case any defect is noticed, immediate action to get it rectified should be taken. An entry should be made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the police station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the Police Station mentioning Daily Diary Number on the intimation.

e. During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the manager of anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of CCTV shall immediately inform the police Control Room at Telephone No. 100 and also nearest Police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorized vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.

f. The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning the drinking in public places is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest Police Station shall also be mentioned on the signboards.

g. The vend owners shall ensure that the liquor should not be sold to minors at any cost. They have also to display the board cautioning “ The sale of liquor to the person below 25 years of age is a punishable offence”. If any minor found purchasing liquor from liquor

vends or consuming liquor in front of the liquor vends, necessary action U/S 188 IPC will be initiated against the vendors.

4. This order shall come into force with effect from 18/02/2013 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. up to 18/04/2013 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5. Any person contravening this order shall be liable to be punished in accordance with the provision of Section 188 of Indian Panel Code.

6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through the Press and by affixing copies on the notice boards of the offices of all District DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil offices, all Police Stations concerned and the office es of the NDMC, MCD, PWD, DDA, Delhi Cantt. Board.

ABSCONDING ROBBER ARRESTED

 

INCIDENT:

                   On 31.10.12, complainant Rani resident of Jahangir Puri stated that she has a small shop in her house and at about 2.40 PM, when she had come to see off her son-in-law outside her house, four boys appeared before her, two boys caught her hand and two of them pushed her from behind and so she fell down on road, due to which she received injuries.  In the mean while, two boys robbed both her ear-rings.and fled away from the spot. A case FIR No. 280/12 u/s 394/34 IPC PS Jahangir Puri has been registered. Three accused namely Jamshed s/o Anwar R/o N-38/B-63, CD Park, Jahangir Puri along with two juveniles were apprehended. However accused Amir s/o Azim has been absconding from this case. NBW has been got issued from the concerned court against him.

 

                   Accused Amir is a Bad Character of PS Jahangir Puri. He is absent since the day of incident. The police officials of PS Jahangir Puri made sincere efforts to trace the accused and yesterday he has been arrested. 

 

INTERROGATION:

                   During sustained interrogation, the accused person has confessed his guilt.

 

RECOVERY:

 

3 ear rings have already been recovered on 1.11.12.

INCIDENT

                   On 28.12.12 at about 5.00 AM, one Sh. Rakesh Tiwari was going toward Azadpur Bus Stand near Azadpur Metro Station and when reached near Azadpur foot over bridge, he was robbed of his mobile phone and purse containing two ATM cards, PAN card, Cradit card, Driving License and Rs. 4500/-.On the basis of statement of victim Sh. Rakesh Tiwari, a case vide FIR No. 323/12 dated 28.12.2012 u/s 392/34 IPC PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi was registered and investigation was taken up. 

 

TEAM  

                A team comprising of SI Sandeep Kumar D-556, Ct. Rahul Kumar 1395/NW, and Ct. Jai Bhagwan  1436/NW was constituted to make sincere efforts to apprehend the accused in this case.

 

INVESTIGATION

                   During investigation, all the three accused persons have been arrested by the above said team and the robbed mobile phone has been recovered.

 

PROFILE :

                   Accused Hemant @ Happy is 19 years old and studied upto 10th class. He did not continue his study further. Later on, he started the work of whitewashing.

        Kidnapping solved

        One arrested in New Friends Colony

CASE BACKGROUND

On 19/02/13, a PCR call vide DD No. 20A regarding kidnapping of a child was received at PS New Friends Colony. Police from PS. New Friends Colony reached the spot near Maharani Bagh N. Delhi and found a 4 year old boy missing. A case of kidnapping was registered in PS. N.F. Colony for the same.  

Team

The investigation was taken up in the supervision of ACP/NFC. A team consisting of Insp Govind Chauhan SHO/NFC, SI Ashok Giri, ASI Devender Singh, HC Manoj No 655/SE, HC Dinesh Pandit No. 227/SE, Ct. Bobby Yadav was constituted.

Investigation

Local enquiry revealed the name of one Ramkaran as the prime suspect as the boy had last been seen in his company. A team was immediately dispatched to Nangloi area, where the suspect was reported to be living with a relative. The police team managed to apprehend accused Ramkaran S/O Sh. Kheit R/O Vill. Madiha PS Gamnaha Distt. Paschimi Champaran, Bihar and rescue the 4 year old boy. The entire operation was conducted within 4 hours.

Motive

The accused is unemployed since the last 2 months. He had kidnapped the boy to demand ransom from his parents. The father of the child is a petrol pump attendant while the mother of the child is a domestic worker.

Profile of Accused

Accused is permanent resident of Bihar and was working as security Guard/ Chowkidar in New Friends Colony. He has been unemployed since the last two months. He is illiterate & had come to Delhi two days ago.

INCIDENT

 

          On 20.02.13 at about 12 P.M. there was a firing incident  when Naveen Khatri s/o Bijender r/o Pana Paposian, Narela and Ajender @ Monu s/o Rajbir Singh r/o Pana Paposian, Narela, accused in Case FIR No. 510/10 u/s 302/34 IPC, P.S. Narela were being taken for production in Rohini court. On the way, Naveen was fired upon  and on hearing the gun shot, Const. Raj Kumar of P.P. Rohini Court, P.S. Prashant Vihar ran after the shooter and

after hot chase, accused Mukesh (age 19 years) s/o Bijender r/o Village Mandora, Sonepat, Haryana, (presently residing in Village Bankner, Narela with one of his relatives) was caught and the weapon of offence  one country made Desi Katta was recovered from him.  Another weapon Desi Katta was also recovered from the spot. In this regard a case FIR No.  83/13  dated   20.02.2013 u/s 302 IPC read with 25/27/54/59 Arms Act P.S. Prashant Vihar has been registered.

 

INTERROGATION

 

          During preliminary interrogation the accused has confessed that he belongs to ‘Ashwani Gang’.  Ashwani Khatri @ Cheeni (age 28 years) was arrested last year and he is in judicial custody.  Deceased  Naveen had killed one Sushil of Ashwani Gang in year 2010.  Mukesh was working as conductor in the buses owned by Sushil.  Recently Ashwani had told Mukesh that Naveen is planning to kill him as he was close to Sushil. So Ashwani conspired to kill Naveen and for this  the weapon was arranged by Ashwani.. 

 

          He further revealed that in order to kill Naveen he planned with many Ashwani Gang members. As soon as Naveen was escorted by police personnel he came closer and fired upon Naveen from the back side.  Injured Naveen was taken to BSA Hospital where he was declared  ‘Brought Dead’.  One policeman who was escorting the accused Naveen has also received gun shot injury in the right heel fired by the assailant. He is out of danger.

          Two country made pistols and fired cartridges.
