This tool (hereinafter referred to as “DFTT”) is PC software for judging whether I/O board is out of order. DFTT helps you to judge I/O board and to avoid replacing controller assembly.

Note : As other useful function, uploading software is available. DFTT can be used for DECOSIIIe, f, g (as of Aug.2014) like existing FDT(RENESAS) is used.

1. Select FILE → Config.
■Communication port setup
2. Select COMM PORT.
3. Select OK.

2. Failure diagnosis
Does I/O board have an output of AC24V?
Start DFTT
Check parts(*1) activated by DFTT
YES
NO
⇒other failures suspected (Valve etc…)

I/O board ⇒ NG
(*1) Valve or Magnetic contactor.

1. Select TOOL → Test → DECOS IIIe,f,g.
■ Setting method for DECOS IIIe,f,g (LXE10E***)
2. The following screen appears automatically, select START.

3. Wait for about 10 seconds while initializing (PRESSURE EQUALIZING). (“Initializing…” is displayed.)

4. When initializing completed, the screen will be shown as below. (START button disappears.)

2. Check with a tester AC24V.
If there is NO 24V, I/O board is out of order.
Judgment! Judgment!
If there is NO 24V, I/O board is out of order.
* When I/O board is normal, failure of Magnetic Contactor is suspected.
(Note) For your safety, When PCC1 or PCC2 are selected, EF*, CF* CC are not activated.

◆Phase correction contactor (PCC1 or PCC2) check
1. Select PCC1. (for example)
Judgment!
If there is NO 24V, I/O board is out of order.

2. Check with a tester AC24V.
* When I/O board is normal, failure of Magnetic Contactor is suspected.

◆Fan motor operation check
1. Select EFH. (for example)
(Note) For your safety, When EF*, CF are selected, PCC1 and PCC2 are not activated.

2. Check with a tester AC24V.
Judgment!
If there is NO 24V, I/O board is out of order.
* When I/O board is normal, failure of Magnetic Contactor is suspected.

1. Select CC.
(Note) For your safety, When CC is selected, PCC1 and PCC2 are not activated.

■ Setting method for DECOS V, Va(LX10F***)
1. Select TOOL→ Test → DECOS V, Va
2. The following screen appears automatically, select START.

3. Selected software is checked.

(Note) Uploaded software version can be confirmed.
* Select UPLOAD → DECOS Version to show lower 2 figures of the software version.
5. Software writing starts.
