Who are The Daughters of Qetesh?

Daughters of Qetesh are Priestesses, who follow various Spiritual and Eclectic Pagan paths. The foundation is the Egyptian ideology of Sacred Love & Sexuality givers. They are referred to by Psychologist Carl Jung as ‘Sacred Whore Archetype’. Parliament and House of lords for changes to laws affecting women and equality. Because Sacred Prostitution was outlawed by the patriarchy for 5,000 years the ideology of Sacred Sexuality is alien and abhorrent to many. This Iseum follows one of the most profound avenues of transformative and spiritual enlightenment. Sacred prostitution in the modern sense is what Jung calls “An archetypal healer and lover who reclaims the land and soul of the people through union of God and Goddess within”. We are lovers of the universe and our healing energy is sent out into the world on a spiritual and psychological level. Mother, daughter, and grandmother are all aspects of the Holy Goddess Qetesh. At least once in our lives we will pray to her under one of her many sacred names and guises. She hears us when we pray for help with love relationships, and every day work. She hears our cry when we are victims of crime against bodies and minds. It is she who guides us through broken marriages and mental or physical abuse, from those who claim to love us. She guides and watches over the ‘women of the night’, the courtesan, the escort and those who earn a living doing the oldest profession

We supported and campaigned with other local

and international groups against laws which

would criminalize women and men working as

(SSH), Sacred Sexual Healers. The proposed

laws in Scotland and New South Wales were

subsequently overturned. We petitioned the UK

House of Lords regarding anti Trafficking and

Slavery laws, to protect women and children

caught in a life of abuse & enforced hours of

unpaid labor in Great Britain.

We liaised with the British Police on their ‘Ugly

Mug’ scheme where women at risk of abuse on

the streets could report criminals without being at

risk of arrest themselves. We were involved in the

interview of author Jane Meredith who penned

the work ‘Journey to the Dark Goddess’. As a

Pagan she has first hand knowledge of using this

sacred path to the Goddess and understands how

Someone, who already feels marginalized by our

patriarchal authoritative system, would find this a

more natural way of spiritual expression, and a

more holistic way of finding their place in the

great cosmos.

“Guide me on my path Great Goddess. Use me to show others the way to Love Eternal”.

Be Ye Maiden, Mother, or Crone. She shines through us

All.

ABOUT

Assase Yaa - Mother Nature pregnant with pain in her heart. Suffering the

Spiritual agony of childbirth pains, as she carries the souls of millions of lost hero's

and heroines in her womb."

.

Temple Overview

We make and distribute baby clothes, blankets, baby 'pockets' and 'bunting' to those who request them. The majority of the items go to maternity hospitals for use in the premature baby unit.

We also have links with undertakers who use

our items in burial of the little angels who are born to premature to survive. The bulk of the work is to dress the lost angels for their parents to receive and grieve over. If a private burial or cremation is chosen by the parents, we have beautiful garments and wraps for burial.

All items are then sent to a charity named 'Loving Hands' where they are distributed to all the places they are needed.

General Information

Assase Yaa is an African Earth Goddess of the Akan peoples. She is worshiped on a Friday by her followers. She is regarded as Mother Earth from whom we all are born and to who we all shall return.

She is also revered as Queen of the Underworld and Goddess of Childbirth who "...protects the dead who are buried in her pocket..." She also represents truth, morality, harvest and fertility. Finally she cares for and judges our souls.

The name 'Assase/Asase' means Earth while 'Yaa' means Day of birth (Birthday).
