How Has The Event been Portrayed by History? Has it been Positive or Negative?• D-Day has been passed down as one of the greatest

days during world War II.• Though the allied forces lost many men and had a

large number of casualties they believe it to be the start of a campaign that would lead to eventual Allied victory in Europe in May 1945.

• It has to be one of the most positive days relating to the take over of Germany.

Has the Event’s portrayal by history been fair and accurate, explain?

• For the most part I think that the men in history have told the story of this day over and over and they tell the story great.

• All of the sources I have looked at have had the same information and tell the same story.

• The maps match the things said that have been told.
