• Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is responsible for coordination of the ODA
• Total volume of the ODA in 2005 (bilateral and multilateral):
EUR 100 mil.
ODA/GNI: 0,11 % (Govt. target: 0,142 % in 2010)
• Different line ministries are responsible for development projects in their specific areas of interest (environmnent, health, education, social services, industrial development etc.)
• Development Centre of the Institute of International Relations is the main expert body of the MFA

State support for Development NGOs:
• Support system for Development NGOs was launched on October 1st 2003 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
and is administered by the Development Centre with initial budget of CZK 2 million (EUR 70 000)
• Based on a Grant Scheme
• Supported areas: Capacity building, Public Information Campaigns, Development Education, Partnership
