ORGANIZING COMMITTEE MESSAGE

Hey there, delegates!

Welcome to the first ever CALABARZON Youth Leaders Summit!

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for making it here. This event, powered by AIESEC, aims to make youth leadership a viral concept by inspiring YOU to influence your fellow youth to be more involved in creating positive impact in CALABARZON, in the Philippines, and in the world.

Being a leader, whether in your school, your organization, or your church, you surely have the capacity to influence others. Maximize

that privilege. Don’t let your influence be limited only to your immediate surroundings. Go out of your comfort zone, expand your

territories and create endless ripples of positive impact!

Some of you may have these thoughts: “I can’t do anything, I’m too young!” or “I’m just a student, no one’s

going to listen to me.” I cannot blame you, but this is what I have to say: we are never too young to

be doing something for the society. In fact, being young is our biggest advantage. We still have our whole lives ahead of us and we still have time, so

why not start young? Who knows what we can achieve by the time we reach 30? 40? 50?

Take a chance.

You lead. You inspire. YOU will make it happen.

Cheers! OC President, Tim Parafina
