My representative student evaluations for two classes are attached to this applications.

Some of the student’s comments include:

1. I really like Dr Pathak. He was very funny and he seemed to be very motivated about

what he was teaching. He explained things in a way that made sense which is always

important because memorizing can only get you so far. It is important to understand how

things work and why they work the way they do, which is the way that he would try to

teach us-by making sense of things. I really enjoyed him and look forward to having him

for more classes in the upcoming semesters. (Class 2016 in Fall 2012)

2. I really enjoyed the rheology course that we took in DDS. He is very knowledgeable and

his sense of humor makes it easier to understand the material. In addition I enjoyed his

class on radio pharmacy in pharmaceutical calculations, especially when he discussed

half-life of a radioactive materials such as iodine. (Class 2016 in Fall 2012)

3. My favorite thing about Dr Pathak is his sense of humor. He keeps you interested in his

lectures by telling jokes and making the material more interesting. He keeps you engaged

and gets straight to the point. (Class 2016 in Fall 2012)

4. Dr Pathak is both knowledgeable and entertaining. I like that his power points are well

structured with useful pictures, videos and broken down for difficult subject material. It

made rheology very understandable. (Class 2016 in Fall 2012)

5. Dr Pathak is very amusing. The lectures flew by because he makes everything seem fun. I was able to relate his jokes to the quizzes (Class 2016 in Fall 2012)

6. Dr Pathak is genuinely seem to be concerned about the success of the students. When he

is in class he covers material at a steady pace draws lot of diagrams on white board

which helps with certain concepts. (Class 2015 in Spring 2011)

7. Dr Pathak has a way of taking new material and presenting it in an easy way to lay the foundation to then learn more in depth about a new or difficult topic. (Class 2015 in Spring 2011)

8. Dr pathak taught his lecture without reading his slides (Class 2015 in Spring 2011)

9. I learned what nanotechnology exactly entailed and studies that are involved is using nanotechnology (Class 2015 in Spring 2011)

10. I appreciate Dr Pathak makes jokes during his lectures which usually helps me to

remember material. I also enjoy the amount of pictures he uses in his lecture because I

am a visual learner ( Class 2017 Fall 2013)

11. He has a way of talking to us like conversation but is teaching at the same time. It is

helpful in paying attention and retaining the material. He asks questions throughout the

lecture that pertain to that lecture and beneficial to the objectives of the lecture (Class

2017 fall 2013)

12. Awesome guy do not change your teaching style ( Class 2017 Fall 2013)
