  Economic and social policy research/analysis. Work with lead researcher to design programs and

draft budget funding proposal for a pilot project to evaluate viability of revenue sharing between

community-based organizations and companies operating in extractive industries (e.g. oil and

mining) in Peru.

  Perform research and analysis for various aspects of microinsurance, governance, and rule of law

research projects.

  Assisted with development of economic based conservation strategies for monarch butterflies and

giant pandas.

  Assisted in developing strategies and analysis to enhance the reproductive success of various

endangered species in captivity, including giant pandas and owl monkeys.

  Fellowship award winner.

  Extracted, isolated, purified, and identified previously unknown compounds in the plant Glechoma

hederaceae, or Creeping Charlie.

  Tested such compounds for medically relevant cytotoxicity and antibacterial properties.

  Presented findings at a joint science conference between Hamilton College and Colgate University.
