Ellen Wood O B J E C T I V E I am a third year Fashion student at Edinburgh College of Art looking to gain a fashion design internship over my summer break (June- August 2016). I wish to work within a fast paced, consumer driven, commercial environment. E D U C A T I O N & E X P E R I E N C E 2013 2013 2014 2015 British Council ‘Make in India’ Program - The British Council sponsored me to undertake a two week program in India, learning about production within the fashion and textile industry. I had the opportunity to learn traditional crafts such as block printing and indigo dying from local artisans, as well as the chance to visit some of the largest cotton mills and garment factories in the world. Margo Selby Internship, Whitstable - Worked in the Margo Selby head office for a three-week period, processing orders and participating in design meetings. I gained experience completing customer and market research and had to be able to think on my feet to solve problems sur- rounding processing customer orders.
