Project experienceGSK - HRIS 2015-2016Project backgroundGSK implemented Workday at worldwide level for the HR processes. An interface between Workday and SAP was needed for payroll and PA-OM masterdata. The population in scope was Vaccines (worldwide), Pharma and Consumer population (Benelux).

Role on the project As SAP HCM Consultant, my role was first to adapt the blueprints and scope the SAP tests to create for further project phases. Once the test scope defined, SAP Business test scripts were done under my responsibility. As test coordinator I was in charge of the cross country SAP test phase: follow-up, integration testing, regression testing, planning, communication, test plan management. During the post go-live phase I was in charge of the support coordination between stakeholders: IT Vx, IT Corporate, HR business and local teams. I also provided technical support on the interface (IDOC management, dash boarding, etc.)

Sodexo 2015Project background

Sodexo services many sectors including private corporations, government agencies, schools from elementary through university, hospitals and clinics, assisted-living facilities, military bases, and correctional facilities. Sodexo offers services in Meal Pass; gift Pass; food and technical maintenance on installations; cleaning, etc.

Role on the project As SAP HCM consultant, my interventions were mainly on PA/OM/TM/PY issues and the setup of SAP upgrades (SAP notes for Belcotax, etc.). I was also in charge of monthly releases coordination: flow tests, mass tests and their validation by the business.

NLMK 2015Project backgroundNLMK core business is the manufacturing and sale of steel products. The site located in La Louvière is the former Carsid enterprise.

Role on the projectAs SAP HCM expert, I performed the preliminary study for a SAP HCM implementation: scoping, sizing and estimate for the mini HR and LSO solution. The scope was about gap analysis with former Carsid implementation, set up of LSO, new interfaces with Protime and SDWorks. We performed the implementation of the mini HR and LSO after the preliminary study.

SNCB Holding 2010 - 2014Project backgroundThe Belgian rail company implemented SAP to replace old legacy applications. A complex environment was set up with SAP in each company within the Belgian rail company (Infrabel, SNCB-NMBS and Holding). Infrabel is in charge of the infrastructure, SNCB-NMBS of transport and stations, Holding of finance and accounting. In 2012, it was decided to split the Holding between SNCB-NMBS and Infrabel: the group is composed by SNCB-NMBS and Infrabel since January 2013.

Role on the projectAs SAP HCM consultant in the BCC/CATS-HR team, I was in charge of workshops for enhancements, change requests and new projects on the existing SAP-CATS and HCM system. From design to testing, from analyses to delivery, sensible tracks were under my responsibility during the company reorganization. I was also in charge of the follow-up and support of business processes (accounting closures, payroll imports, postings, etc…)

Syntigo 2010 - 2014Project backgroundSyntigo is an independent subsidiary company of the Belgian railways group. Syntigo decided to implement a SAP HCM project (with a link to Partena for payroll). Several interfaces were developed between SAP, Partena and different internal actors. The initial scope was a full HR-PA/OM, Time, ALE, CATS/e-CATS, SAP ESS/MSS portal. Since 2013, Syntigo is completely integrated in the Infrabel Company and change management/BPM was needed due to landscape changes.

Role on the projectAs SAP HCM consultant on the initial project, I was in charge of workshops and blueprints for PA/OM and CATS/e-CATS. I also made the customizing, user trainings and documentation, project follow-up and maintenance. In 2013 I was lead consultant for change management and support for the whole HCM/CATS solution. I was also in charge of the integration within Infrabel.

Belgacom Group 2009 - 2010

Project backgroundBelgacom is the biggest Telecommunication group in Belgium. The group was recently created with the former Belgacom SA, Proximus, Telindus and Skynet companies. The merge of different systems and new implementations for SAP HR involved many resources. The scope of the project was the integration of Proximus in the Belgacom Group structure and the maintenance of the group processes.

Role on the projectWith the knowledge of the Proximus environment, I was in charge to integrate the Proximus SAP HR systems into the newly created SAP ECC 6 “Group” environment as technical track lead. My expertise was mainly on payroll rules, time calculation (primes …), masterdata, Time registration (RAPID, Total View, etc.). I was also involved in the ALE interfacing between Proximus, Belgacom and Telindus for master data, OM and customizing. All gap analysis and functional analysis for the Proximus integration were under my responsibility.

Proximus 2007-2009

Project backgroundProximus is the pioneer in cellular networks in Belgium. Proximus was created as a “spin off” of Belgacom in collaboration with Vodafone. Proximus is the leader of the Belgian market as Cellular network provider. The scope of the project was to provide technical and functional knowledge to the customer for several internal projects.

Role on the projectAs SAP HCM consultant I was involved in new projects for interfaces between the SAP R/3 system and third party solutions for time registration and of payroll. I was the point of contact between developers/Analysts and end-users. Responsible of the development team (resource planning, transports …) I was involved in the design process for time and payroll modification or enhancements. I was also in charge of changes in the portal (content –KMS-, and new pages/features –Iviews, etc)), and As the integration in the Belgacom group was started, I also implemented the master data distribution for Belgacom via ALE. A technical audit (function point analysis – system measurement) was also done on the SAP HR application under my supervision. The competence evaluation applications of employees were also under my responsibility. I was also involved in the selection process of new consultants.

NRB 2007

Project backgroundSAP HR was a major part of the SAP ERP implementation at NRB, which is one of the major IT services providers in the Walloon region of Belgium. The scope was the absence management via ESS/MSS under SAP ECC 6.

Role on the project I was involved in the implementation of the ESS/MSS tool. I worked during the development and testing phases as SAP HR consultant.

SAP HR was implemented for Time registration with Payroll, for the shift planning of the drivers and for time registrations.

Role on the projectI was in charge of developments between former third party applications/environments and the SAP R/3 systems. I was responsible of the transports and the synchronization between consultants and the internal team. I set up and provided follow up for the time registration process from KABA clocking system and SAP. I also developed new rules for quota deduction in the time process and maintained the time customizing (wage types, quotas, rules …).
