Work Experience:

Since Nov., 2013 till now Working as technical studies section head in MOPCO Company (Ammonia & urea

fertilizer plant – Damietta)

Responsibility:

- Studding the technical offer of the new ZLD (Zero liquid Discharge) project (Mettito, Bammag, Aquatech and Veolia Company), studding the technical documentation of ZLD for accepted proposal from Veolia Company including revision of all PFD's, PID's, heat and material balance, and data sheet of equipment, project follow up, technical support, process optimization, reviewing the control philosophy and commissioning manager assistant of the ZLD project.

- Suggesting process modification and studding the modification from other discipline and preparing the documentation of MOC (Management of Change) to ensure that safety, health and environmental risks are controlled.

- Preparing the purchasing tender and studding of new Chemicals and catalyst.- Preparation of heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams,

setting system design parameters, Perform design calculations using standard simulation programs (HYSYS, Aspen, petrosim and ROSA) used in process simulations, Construction and startup support and troubleshooting.

- Monitoring the plant performance (equipment, catalyst …), and optimizing the operating conditions, Root cause analysis, reducing the raw materials and utility consumptions.

- Calculation of plant consumption figures & production cost.- Monitoring the plant startup and shutdown.- Preparation the daily, monthly and annually production report.- Preparation of preliminary feasibility studies for extension plants.

Working as Ammonia and Utilities shift leader in MOPCO Company (Ammonia & urea fertilizer plant – Damietta)

Responsibility: Following during normal operation and start up and shut down and supervision for all activity during this period ammonia and utility plant in the field and panel that consists of:

- Operating ammonia & utility using ABB and Honeywell as DCS systems support me in operating my plant using any DCS system

- Hydrogen sulfite removing unit.

- Primary Reformer for the reaction of natural gas and steam depending on catalyst (Ni) and burner as source of heat and following this process from DCS and field.

- Secondary reformer for complete reforming reaction and introduce air as a source of nitrogen.

- Three Waste heat recoveries for heating a lot of fluids and produce high pressure super-heated steam (115barg).

- Reactor for converting Carbone oxide to Carbone dioxide (Cr, Zn oxide catalyst).- Carbone dioxide removing unit.- Ammonia reactor for ammonia synthesis with waste heat boiler for producing

saturated steam.- Four centrifugal compressor start up and controller at all cases. - Refrigeration unit for sub cooling for ammonia.- Six steam turbine (3HP steam turbine (115barg), 3MP steam turbine (45barg)). - HP MFW pumps with discharge pressure (150barg).- Deaerator for removing dissolved oxygen in demineralized water and follow up

chemical treatment.- Pretreatment Unit (The center feed clarifier)- Demineralized water production with capacity of 320 m3/hr by using (Carbon and

cartridge filter & cation , anion and mixed bed ion exchange resin with proceed regeneration , back wash , acid cleaning and brine cleaning for resin )

- Closed two cooling tower (Mechanical draft towers) (6 cells, 3cells) and dealing with their chemical dosing system.

- Biological Treatment Unit for Waste Water, Stripping Unit and Neutralization Process, Dewatering system unit, Firefighting unit.

- Ammonia storage tank and its booster compressor for boil of from ammonia.- Generator rotating by steam turbine.- Instrumentation air unit- Preparing daily performance summaries to monitor plant by studying laboratory test

reports, standard log sheets and other daily operating activity reports, and highlights abnormalities and suggests corrective actions to supervisor.

- Collecting monthly plant production and operating data, evaluates unit efficiencies by relating chemicals and energy consumption and prepares reports with comments.

- Give technical process intensive training courses to new Engineers and Operators compressors, turbines, DCS process control and ammonia &Utility process description

- Complying with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures, signed on all precaution for this job with safety engineer

- Ability to use MAXIMO as end user for contact with other Department.- Training for my operator to increase its knowledge.- Meeting the Process Operating Plan during normal operating conditions.- Preparing shut-down list for maintenance.- Support safety, environmental, operations and engineering needs.- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management

policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products / service and a responsible environmental attitude.

- Cooperate with operations personnel during Maintenance Turnarounds.- Cooperate with the Shift Superintendent leading the plant to its safe shore while

troubleshooting.- Preparing the daily positive maintenance schedules with maintenance team.

- Cooperate in preparing the Risk Assessments with HSE team- Participating in the identification of possible solutions in process problem areas, which

will include analyzing operating reports and discussing problem items with the departments concerned.

Working as HSE officer in UHDE Company (Accompany from ThyssenKrupp) Work in MOPCO Project in Damietta, HSE Officer.

Responsibility:

- Issue and review the daily HESS reports.- Issue control system for (entrance of persons and equipment) .- Have full authority to stop any work whose execution is deemed to be dangerous or

likely imperil the safety of personal.- Insuring of protection the environment at the site. - Insure that safety notice and safety information are posted in prominent position.- Inspecting all Equipment hand tools and other facilities in order to classify its safety

statues.- Insuring that safety plan is applicable for all project employees.- Make qualifications for the (Engineers, worker and safety officers).- Coordinating between all the subcontractors in order to organize the different activities

in the site.
