Furthering my career with a move to Westgate Department Stores I was Buyer/Merchandiser for eight department stores initially, which culminated in thirteen. My role was autonomous and although my primary function was to source and merchandise product, I devised and delivered training to develop and build a strong buying and retail team for the group. Working on a self-employed basis (in order to suit the needs of my family) for a number of years, I have operated as sole trader and sales agent for two fashion jewellery brands. Recently I have worked on a freelance basis as a retail consultant, visiting fashion concessions and offering direction and comparative shop analysis to others. I achieved a Diploma for Buying and Merchandising for Fashion Retail at The City of Liverpool College June 2015 and I have just finished working as Homeware Buyer (Interim), for the Oldrids and Downtown group based in Boston Lincolnshire. I am now seeking a challenging creative role which utilises my skills and experience, whilst offering me the opportunity to further my expertise and progress my career. PERSONAL PROFILE
