ADJUSTMENT OF BLADES

1. Loosen nuts on cam bolts about one complete turn (360o)

WARNING: Do not cut over HRC 35 middle carbon steel or exceed the cutting capacity of this tool. Do not twist or pry with the tool while cutting.

2. Align cutter jaws by rotating the cam bolts. Move arrows on cam bolt inward to close jaw. Tighten nuts.

File Hints for Best Results• Select the correct file for the material and surface finish required

For harder surfaces use second cut or smooth cut files For softer surfaces use coarse cut or bastard cut files

• Grip the file firmly. Exert pressure for filing on the forward stroke only. Do not use the file during backward movement

• Protect file teeth from uneven striking against hard surfaces

• To prolong the life of the file, clean the file teeth between jobs with a suitable wire brush (or file card) and store in a dry place

• Be safe. Always wear safety goggles
