Wham TVC 2 – Cute

Route: Get It

TVC opens on a group of 3 hip looking college girls who are stepping out of a mall.

“You should have been there for that one-day 60% off sale ya,” one girl says

to another girl in the group. “We tried to tell you but couldn’t get in touch.

Why don’t you get a mobile?” the girl asks.

“Can’t find a cute mobile ya, only ugly ones I’m getting in my budget,” answers the girl.

When suddenly, a large 10 foot tall teddy bear falls belly-first on the girl who just

answered. Wham!

The camera tilts up to show Chris Gayle dressed in an attractive Gucci suit and

matching tie, straddling the 10 foot tall, fluffy teddy bear.

He gets off the teddy bear and begins to speak to the girl in a smooth manner.

“You just don’t get it, do you?” he says.

“You don’t have to have a lot of money to get a cute mobile phone,” he continues

to say.

“Just get a Wham mobile,” Chris says as he takes a Wham W36 out of his suit’s jacket

pocket…

(The following sequence comprising of this frame and the other two to follow,

are carried out in quick cuts back and forth)

“Wham?” the girl crushed under the 10 foot tall teddy bear asks, as she takes the mobile

Chris offers her.

“Wham,” Chris states assertively.

“Wham,” Chris says as we see the same words arranged in chocolate, within an open

chocolate box that Chris puts before the girl.

The girl takes one of chocolates from the box…

pops it in her mouth…

and goes, “Ummm…”

Cut back to Chris once again as he says, “So you can take your pick from Wham’s range

of charming mobiles priced below Rs. 3,500.“

In the middle of the sentence spoken above Chris is seen using one finger to scroll across

various models of affordable Wham phones on his own big screen Wham smartphone.

(Once again, the following sequence comprising of this frame and the other two to

follow are carried out in quick cuts back and forth)

“Get it?” Chris turns to the girl crushed under the 10 foot tall teddy bear and asks.

“Get it,” the girl answers without even looking up from the phone in her hand.

‘SHE GOT IT,’ spells the chocolate placed within a big rectangular box of chocolates

Chris is holding.

The girl’s friends who had made themselves scarce earlier, now suddenly make an

appearance and immediately help themselves to the chocolates.

The giant teddy bear then immediately rises off the girl until it goes off the screen.

However, she still has her nose buried in what she’s doing on the mobile and fails to

notice that the bear is gone.

Cut back to Chris as he says, “Wham! Get it.”

Once again Chris says, “Chocolates?” while he offers another big box of

chocolates (arranged to spell out WHAM), to the Camera i.e, the viewer.

(The Wham spelt out in chocolates

morphs into the Wham logo we close with.)
