Customizing a Presentation and Creating a Slide Show
A collection of slides used to enhance an informative speech
Know your audience - don’t present information that the audience already knows
Use Restraint- overuse colors or decorations
Be accurate and ethical - double check your information, figures and sources
Choose appropriate graphics and styles – use appropriate accents to your presentation
Use outline Formats – They are easier to follow, don’t write paragraphs
Use bullets - Bullets imply no significant order
Use numbers - To show rank or sequence Use Restraint - No more than one topic
per slide
6 lines of text per slide6 words per lineAllow plenty of room around borders and illustrations
