Customer Relations Specialist The Customer Relations Specialist is one of the first people customers come in contact with at Saint Mary’s Press. This role is responsible for both inbound customer support as well as making outbound calls to follow up on sample requests to convert to orders. Saint Mary’s Press ensures the customer has the best experience through all of its touchpoints and this position plays a large part in that. This job is for an energetic, self-starter, self-motivator, critical thinker that works well prioritizing and working within a team. Specific operating responsibilities: ¨ Make outbound customer calls and contacts to targeted customer base, close sales and achieve monthly goals ¨ Understand customer needs and requirements while assisting inbound callers with questions or order placement ¨ Work together with and provide support for field sales staff ¨ Attend product and sales training as required ¨ Perform administrative duties related to customer base ¨ Willingness to travel occasionally to national conferences with an SMP team ¨ Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills ¨ Proven experience in sales/upselling ¨ Strong phone presence and experience making and taking multiple calls per day ¨ Experience in data entry and working with a customer management database ¨ Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel ¨ Desire to learn and keep pace with digital technology ¨ Interest in learning about the Catholic market place ¨ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ¨ Attention to detail and organizational skills ¨ Demonstrated team work ethic ¨ 2 yr degree preferred ¨ Good judgment and adaptability Please send resume with cover letter and/or COVER VIDEO to: [email protected]
