Custom Roller Shades Read all installation instructions before installing. Care and cleaning Using a soft cloth or sponge, dab with a mild soap and water solution. Do NOT use abrasive or harsh cleansers; they can damage the surface finish. Dry with a cloth towel to prevent water spots. Operate the roller shade Pull gently on the chain in one direction to lower the shade; pull in the other direction to raise the shade. Before you begin your installation: Read all installation instructions before you begin! Make sure that you have all tools and hardware needed for installation. Check the installation surface (wall, ceiling, or window frame) to ensure that you have suitable fasteners and tools for the material. Double-check the width of the shade. If you are installing several shades, be sure to match them with the appropriate window. Check the parts list to confirm that you have the correct number of brackets. Do not remove the wrap on the roller until you have completed the installation. Leaving the shade rolled up completely will ease installation and reduce the risk of damage. For standard roller shades, the fabric will hang off the BACK of the shade, closest to the window. For optional reverse roller shades, the fabric will hang off the front of the shade. Be sure to note this when installing the mounting brackets.     Checkthepartslisttoconfirmthatyouhavethecorrectnumberofbrackets.

    Donotremovethewrapontherolleruntilyouhavecompleted the installation. Leaving the shade rolled up completely will ease installation and reduce the riskofdamage.

    Forstandardrollershades,thefabricwillhangofftheBACKoftheshade,closesttothewindow.Foroptional reverse roller shades, the fabric will hang off the front of the shade. Be sure to note this when installingthemountingbrackets.

    Step1,makingsuretheyaresquareandlevel. IMPORTANT: Be sure to note the correct location of eachbracket;thebracketsarenotinterchangeable.

    Markthebracketmountingholelocations(use of the slotted holes is recommended), two screws perbracket.

    Attachthebracketstothewallorwindowframeusing suitable fasteners.

    Mark the bracket locations

    Carefullymeasurethelengthoftheshadefromthe flat surface of the control end to the base of the small pin on the spring plunger end. Deduct off approximately 1/4" to ensure proper tensioning of therollerinthebrackets.

    Makesurethatthereisenoughclearancefortherolled up shade and that it will not rub or catch on the window, window frame or any obstructions when fully rolled up.

    Markthisdistanceonthemountingsurfaceatthedesiredbracketheightsothatitiscenteredinthewindow opening.

    Prepare the standard valance for inside-mount installations

    Install the brackets inside mount

    3B Alignthenotchoneachbracketwiththemarks,

    fromStep1makingsuretheyaresquareandspacedequally from the window.

    IMPORTANT: Be sure to note the correct location of eachbracket;thebracketsarenotinterchangeable.

    Markthebracketmountingholelocations(useoftheslottedholesisrecommended),twoscrewsperbracket.

    Attachthebracketstothewallorwindowframe usingsuitablefasteners.Ifyouareinstallingavalance,installitbetweenthebracketsandthemounting surfaceusingthethrough-holesdrilledinStep3A.

    Proceed to Step 5.

    NOTE:Thisstepisforoutside-mountinstallationsusinga standard valance ONLY. Installthevalancemountingbrackets,spacingthe

    bracketsapproximately3"infromtheshadebracketsandmakingsuretheyarelevel.Anyadditional bracketsshouldbespacedevenlybetweentheends.

    Makesuretherewillbesufficientclearancebetween the roller shade and the valance.

    Proceed to Step 5.

    Install the valance brackets for outside-mount installations

    Centeringthevalanceovertherollershade,slidethe top of the front valance panel into the valance clipsuntilitlocksintoplace.Youcanadjustthevalance spacing from the wall by loosening the wingnutsonthevalancebrackets.

    Ifyourrollershadeincludesbracketcovercaps,pressthemontothebracketsasshownbelow.

    Specialtyoptionforoutsidemountshadeschosen at time of purchase.

    Removetheshippingwrapperfromthearoundthe roller.

    Pushthefrontoftheheadrailfirmlyupwards and toward the window until the groove at the top of the headrail snaps into place.

    panel resting on the top lip of all brackets.

    Pushthebottomfrontoftheheadrailfirmlybackwardsandtowardthewindow until the lip on the rear of theheadrailengagesthebracket and snaps into place.

    Marqueladistanciaenlasuperficiedemontaje a la altura deseada del soporte, a fin de que quede centrada en la abertura de la ventana.

    Desliceelpaneldelretornoensambladosobreun extremodelacenefa.Lalengetaencajarenlos canales que estn en la parte posterior de la cenefa, ylapartesuperiordelacenefaencajarenelcanal que est en la parte superior del panel del retorno.

    Envuelvalatelaenelextremodelpaneldelretorno. Presionelastapasensulugar. Repitaesteprocedimientoparaelotroextremo.

    Una vez que ambos retornos estn instalados, tire de la tela hasta que quede tirante para eliminar las arrugasyparafijarlaparteposteriordelosretornos con cinta adhesiva de papel.

    Instale las cenefas de instalacin exterior (para los modelos sin retornos)

    Centrelacenefasobrelapersianaenrollable y deslice la parte superior del panel frontal de la cenefa en las prensas de la cenefa, hasta queencajenensulugar.Puedeajustarel espaciadodelacenefadesdelaparedaflojandolas tuercas mariposa que de los soportes de la cenefa.
