Regimental Royal Signal Electrician Responsibilities

Manage the repair and maintenance of the Regiments Generator Fleet

Manage the Documentation of all repairs and maintenance of the Generator Fleet

Manage and maintain the Regimental power distribution equipment

Plan and Supervise the Distribution of power Equipment

Plan and Manage the maintenance, repair and testing of all Power supply and distribution equipment

Manage Keep and Maintain Registers for repair and testing throughout the Regiment.

Manage provide and support the Royal Signals Electricians Training whilst ensuring the required competencies are maintained.

Knowledge of all vehicles and plant within the unit

A civilian carrying out the role would need a sound background in mechanical maintenance and repair, JAMES and be computer literate at the same time managing and overseeing the day to day running of a motor transport office.
