The first exhibition; Reverberation in the DormantLands\ was a two months’ work and included a wide range of my projects in relation to the surge for an identity. The second exhibition ‘Urban Projects in Cyprus’was one month’s research on public spaces in Cyprus, for which I gathered material from architects and authorities of Cyprus. The 3rd exhibition was the collaborative work with the NGO ‘Urban Gorillas’.

1 2017 Regeneration of the Piazza di Sant Onoufrio, Palermo.

The association of the Architects of Palermo asked for the above proposal for the melting pod events where they invited 1 architect from each European country.

2 2017 Smalto Project The design and the execution of the project took 5 years. It has a radical urban intervention where the whole ground floor is freed in order to reconnect the main Strovolos Avenue with the riverbed of Pediaios.

3 2017 Proposal for the New Cyprus Archaeological Museum, International Competition

The project was the participation of my office in collaboration with the office SHEHA- Solon Xenopoulos and Eleni Hadjinikolaou in the International Competition. It was a work done in the length of 4 months. Urban regeneration and new typology of museum was proposed

4 2016 Proposal for the Creation of the Lempa Cultural village, International Competition

The project dealt with the Stas Paraschos art center and its evolution into an international art workshops and residencies. This is a work of a group of architects and students of Architecture for the length of 3 months. 3 2015 Participation in the Advisory Committee of the State Department of Energy’s Activity: Invited to participate in the State Department of Energy’s Activity as a consultant for the

‘Strategy for mobilization of investments for restoration of national Cyprus (built) capacity. I attended the meetings and together with Petros Lapithis submitted our

proposal. We were the only academicians and architects participating in the process. We

further participated in more suggestions in the formulation of the proposed regulations.

Europe. Selected as the best architectural practice and the best project- the building of the

Architecture Research Centre of the University of Nicosia from Cyrus by the cultural association

AIAC -Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism and the international architectural

magazine A10. 37 architectural practices, one from each European country were selected to be

published and be the content of a big event during the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.

A primary selection of four architects and four projects from Cyprus took place, and in the final

stage the committee chose the most representative project.

2 2016 Selected by the Minister of Education and Culture for the 21st Design Trienale of Milan ‘Design after Design’ for the State Pavilion for the design and curating and installation of the ‘Human Topographies_ Emerging Identities'. (Curators: Alessandra Swiny, Yiorgos Hadjichristou,

Veronika Antoniou. Collaborators: Yiorgos Papiotis, Ourania Apserou, Christiana Karamalli). We

designed and installed the pavilion which was visited during 7.03.2016-12.09.2016.

This selection was from a huge participation of presenters from various disciplines, institutions

and countries.

exhibition for Sustainable architecture of ACE: house in Kaimakli. 10.2010-12.2012

8 2009 Honorary Diploma CEAA from the Association of the Civil Engineers and Architects of Cyprus

SPMAK. The honorary is given for the high quality of the architectural work including the

international award of the 1st prize of the Town Hall of Athienou as the most accessible and

friendly public building.
