Consultant)

2013 – 2016 • Coordinated the Msc in Petroleum Geosciences at the Department of Geology – UON with

Total Exploration and Production Kenya, liaising with Professors from both the UON and

Paris, to identify the relevant courses, harmonize them, sign a MoU, identify lecturers,

come up with the budget and ensured that Total was committed to this MoU.

• Led and coordinated stakeholder consultations, ensuring good relations with all stakeholders

and visibility for TEP Kenya BV both at the national and county levels, developed and

implemented the Stakeholder Consultation Plan for TEPK for all Stakeholder Relations

Management, Social Baseline Studies and Environmental Impact Assessment.

• Identified the needs for any Social Baseline Studies, defined the terms of references for such

studies, assisted in the selection of service providers and monitored the same.

• Ensured the implementation of impact mitigation measures and defined grievance

management procedures for TEPK, acting as the grievance administrator.

• Ensured that employees of TEPK and contractors were made aware of and trained on Total’s

societal requirements.
