Consortium Co-Chair, Principal Investigator of the Data Management Core (DMC), Steering Committee Member. In conjunction with the Sponsor (the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation), I co-established the STRC with Dr. Gregory Sawicki MD (Boston Children’s Hospital) to facilitate the clinical study of interventions to improve adherence and CF disease self-management in order to optimize health outcomes and quality of life. In my role as Co-Chair I helped select participating sites and developed governance and operational structure and processes. The STRC consists of 13 Pediatric and 9 Adult CF Care Centers nationwide. Site investigators include pulmonologists, psychologists, a pharmacist and a health economist. Patient and parent representatives are equal partners and advisors to all committees and studies. I provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to the DMC which consists of a research program manager, research coordinators data managers and biostatisticians and is currently supporting 5 studies.
