Short Profile
Timothy Sulo is an Associate Professor and Dean, School of Agriculture and Natural Resources in
Moi University, Kitale Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in 2005 in Moi University, Kenya/ University
of Hohenheim, Germany {joint Program}. He has Authored a total of [40] forty publications. He has
previously attracted research funds from Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2011,
Interchurch organization for Development Cooperation (ICCO), Netherlands in 2006 and 2007, and
Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy in Africa [CEEPA] in 2013, Toyota Tsusho
Fertilizer Africa(TTFA 2016), African Women in Agricultural Research and Development
(AWARD) 2017. He has served previously served as an External Examiner of Egerton
University,Postgraduate Coordinator,Moi University, He has served as SpearheadingMoi
University - [ASK ] Agricultural Society of Kenya Exhibitions Committee as co-Chairman for seven
years (7) between 2010 and 2016. He has recently successfully Supervised fourteen (14 Ph.D.
[Doctorates] and more than thirty [30] Masters Postgraduate Candidates in Economics, Agricultural
Economics Business Management, Tourism and Hospitality Studies. He has also recently attracted
research funds and organized four (4) academic training workshops involving six (6) public
Universities in Kenya.
