PROFESSIONAL CAREER HISTORYCoordinator of Doctoral Studies & Professor of Educational Leadership (October 1, 2009 to Present). Responsibilities include, serving as the program coordinator and faculty member for implementing a professional practice doctoral program in educational leadership that prepares educational leaders for schools in “changing suburbs and small cities;” helping the School of Education get the program approved by New York State Education Department; working closely with partners on implementing the program, teaching graduate classes and advising doctoral students. Also responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the doctoral program, providing professional development for full and part-time faculty, leading student recruitment and admissions activities, evaluating faculty performance, leading the Doctoral Program Faculty Group, facilitating the participation of members of the national and regional groups that guide the program, and representing the program to internal and external groups, building and maintaining strong working partnerships between the program and education leaders as well as schools and districts in the regional education community, developing informal, formal, and online communication systems and structures that will sustain the regional partnerships as well as national partnerships such as the Experts Group, overseeing

Working closely with my fellow doctoral faculty, I have developed and implemented an EDD Executive track for ABDs (all but dissertation), making it the first such program in the USA (and perhaps in the entire world); Have taught six graduate courses (5 at doctoral level, 1 at master level).

Professor of Educational Administration (July 1, 2001 to December 31, 2007, with tenure) Dean, Bagwell College of Education & Head, Professional Teacher Education Unit. Kennesaw State University (KSU), 1000 Chastain Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144 (Dean: From July 1, 2001 to Feb. 23, 2007). Providing leadership for the Professional Teacher Education Unit (PTEU) operations in not only Bagwell College of Education (BCOE) but also five other colleges in the university with 215 administrators, faculty and staff in total. As the College's chief academic and executive officer, the Dean was responsible for instruction, research, academic programming, budgeting, teacher certification, personnel, and other aspects of College planning and operations. In addition to the four academic departments and the PTEU, the Dean also oversaw and supervised all operations of four centers and institutes, including educational technology center, undergraduate and graduate admission, advisement, and certification. The Dean was also responsible for enrollment management, alumni, fund-raising, community relations, new program development, faculty development and all the other operations within the Unit and the College.
