My Philosophy for Teaching and Learning:I believe children learn best when they are provided with a high quality learning environment that stimulates them to think creatively and allows them to plan, organise and prioritise how they can solve problems within relevant first hand learning experiences. (NOR 352): August 2014-PresentYear 5 class teacher (Term 1, 2014):-Planned and taught the International Primary Curriculum units for Year 5-Coordinated and taught English as a Second Language study units to Year 5 and Year 2 students-Set up and resourced my own classroom to create a stimulating learning environment-Implemented the KS2 Qatar History programme of StudyDeputy Head Teacher (Term 1, 2014):-Produced the Strategic Plan Phase 1 with the Head of School and the Board of Directors-Identified the Whole School priorities with the input of teachers-Worked closely with the Head of School in the setting up of new school routines and rotas-Attended Board of Directors meetings twice a term-Liaised with other school departments to set up classrooms with all teaching and IT resources
