My research interests are now mainly focused in the development of new nanodrugs as drug-delivery systems in cancer
therapy. These new compounds carrying out our ruthenium or iron efficient drugs comprise a targeting molecule to more
efficiently reach the cancer cells. Besides, the biological studies that are also being developed will reveal possible targets,
internalization of drugs and mechanisms of action constituting an important step forward in the complicated process of
chemotherapy. The will to synthesize these new (pro)drugs was born from a synergy between the competences that I
have acquired in Biomedical Inorganic Chemistry and Polymerization Catalysis. Accordingly, my path is marked by a
thematic mobility and competences synergy allowing me to gain an extensive and wide-ranging experience in the several
aspects (described below).
