PVAASO Revised FAQ for PVAAS and Transition
of PA O Even if all students drop in
proficiency, doesn’t mean the cohort would not show growth. It is about how we are positioned in achievement in relation to others.
O See next slide for more information
PVAAS and Transition of Assessment System
TN Example: Changes in Assessment System
Revised FAQ for PVAAS and Transition of PA Assessment System is in development Will be emailed to PAIU CC and IU PVAAS Contacts once finalized
Spring 2015 Roster Verification
Clarification about Grade 3 Communication
E-mail sent to District Admins, District Roster Verifiers, School Admins, and School Roster Verifiers. (Copy provided to PAIUCC, IU PVAAS Contacts, and PIMS Admins)
Roster Verification FAQ updated and posted on PVAAS login page SAS EVAAS will use grade 3 as part of teacher level analyses only
NO grade 3 reporting in PVAAS However, teachers of Grade 3 Math or ELA do NOT need to
complete roster verification for the purpose of PVAAS analyses or reporting!
LEAs may choose to have Grade 3 Teachers verify rosters (student+teacher+test) for the purposes of exporting the roster data and using it to help determine the “Student Performance on State Assessments” (% Proficient and Advanced).
PDE Website Redesigned
