Ticketing

Sound Hype

Bitcoin e-commerce site(s)

- Sell anything via dropshippers and accept payment only in Bitcoin. - Specifically target purchases where the buyer has a stronger-than-average desire for anonymity while buying and/or doesn't wish for the purchase to appear on bank/credit card statements.

- Create a Ticketmaster alternative that is easier/cheaper/better for the fans and better/cheaper/more profitable for the bands and concert promoters. - Develop a commission system that rewards Super Fans for bringing 5 or 10 friends to a show.- "Amazon Marketplace" for independent music artists and producers. - Allow independent artists to create their own record label and market straight to their fans on a fee basis instead of a percentage commission.

Monetization Strategy Current Status

- Skimlinks pays us ~4% of earnings from all our members on top of 100% commissions to non-profit organizations. - 1 out of 20/50/100 clicks could be set to our cookie instead of a non-profit to pay our overhead costs. - Allow users to add any charity they want. Any unclaimed earnings left >180/365 days would be forfeited to us.

- Wireframe UX created (Keynote) - SkimLinks API access approved and API keys in-hand - domain registered

- Include a 0.01BTC fee to load/sweep funds from a paper wallet. Fee will be used to offset costs of building/maintaining transaction distribution network.

- Open-source script available to generate paper wallets (bitaddress.org) and existing bitcoin code contains all necessary hooks for transaction network and paper wallet processing. - Avery templates available for all common labels, business card, and other perforated paper types.

- Monthly membership fees; basic + premium services. - Initially target viewers of Discovery Channel's "Gold Rush Alaska" series (last year it was the highest rated Friday night show on all TV - paid and free channels - among men 25-55.

- Several data sets have been identified providing geophysical, historical mining records, mining claim site information, current/former mine sites and shafts, as well as weather and other geological information.

- Sell items at MSRP, and keep the difference between the dropshippers wholesale price and MSRP as profit. - Few bitcoin-only retailers exist; less competition=higher prices. - Price products internally in USD/CAD and then use real-time exchange rates to display prices in BTC to shoppers. - Use a bitcoin exchange rate ~5% below current market value to build-in additional profit and protection from downside forex risk.

for rising/falling exchange rates (builds in more cushion during falling rate trends and becomes more "real-time" during rising price trends). - Multiple dropshippers in place; average profit margin of 10-40% (depending on category) - 6,000 products in .csv ready for import into OpenCart. - OpenCart site live with Total Import Pro and multiple other paid extensions.

- Fees on ticket sales, payment processing, and other direct costs. - Value-added fees charged to event organizers for premium services.

- Concept developed by a group of event producers in Denver, CO who are actively searching for technical talent to begin development. - Equity available to all co-founders; several investors have expressed an interest pending more technical proof-of-concept development.

- Fees charged to music publishers for basic and premium services (a la carte)

- Currently in discussions with multiple investor groups. - Needs programming team.

- Minimal commissions may be earned from referring users to a specific purchase page. - HUGE affiliate commissions available for delivering high net worth, frequently travelling, individuals. Ex: FF credit cards, banking/investing services, hotel offers, points.com, etc. Most of the profit potential is tied to building a large following among a really desirable demographic.

- Dataset with every airline and city pair (dep/arr) for flights in USA/Canada. - Google Flights API provides flight pricing information; other flight APIs can handle real-time search of a specific route.

- Upfront fee for liveUSB and monthly service fees for VPS service.

- Identified initial advertising opportunities that would be interested in commission-based ad sales (i.e. we give them a percentage of sales instead of a fixed, up-front ad fee) - Domains registered and foreign datacenters identified.

My plan is for this to be a non-profit, similar to the Wikipedia model.

- I own the domains Marijuana.MD and Cannabis.MD and have identified numerous data sources with research results and peer-reviewed papers.

Programming Needed Design/UX needed

- Create browser plugin that compares current URL to list of affiliate-enabled sites. - If current URL can earn commission, set affiliate cookie in background.

- Create actual web interface to match existing design mockups. - logo

- Create stand-alone desktop app that uses the BitAddress script to generate public/private key pairs. - Programming to create printable wallets formatted to Avery templates and including different visual designs on the front/back of each bill. - Customize standard Bitcoin client to be "Super Peer" and configure to connect to all known mining pools. Should be able to run on linux VPS and allow each of our nodes to push new transactions to all other nodes immediately. - Mobile app (iOS/Android) to load/redeem funds on a paper wallet and to verify fund availability. - Alert system to monitor recently loaded paper wallets for double-spend attempts.

- design templates for common Avery layouts. - website for script/app homepage, downloading, and support

- Data is in numerous formats and hosted across countless different public and private platforms. Needs to be standardized, geocoded to match Google Earth formats, and land boundry information standardized to lat/long from PLSS system. - Backend cloud-based system to manage 100TB+ data and perform real-time geo-queries.

- simple and clean query building interface where users can choose which data sets to include/exclude from their search. - Customized map overlays (lines, location pins, color-coded "type of information" pins

none

- Minor tweaks to PHP/MySQL to fully integrate and secure the OpenCart site. - Need products imported into OpenCart from .csv and tweaks to the import script to properly handle HTML and text formatting.

- Mobile app and website. Basically, everything technical is needed.

Mobile app (iOS/Android) and website

Page 9: Current Tech Projects

- Install/configure Wiki script

- Script to retrieve pricing information by airline and city pair; store in database. - Alert script to monitor flights with lowest $/mile and $/segment and notify our subscribers. - Backend user management and preferences system. Ideally, would connect to Points.com to retrieve all the user's frequent flyer programs and balance information. At a minimum, allow subscribers to choose which FF programs they wanted to monitor.

- Website design and user preferences screens.

- WHCMS or similar to automatically provision new accounts, manage billing, and revoke service for non-payment.

- Sales and support website UX

- Design custom UX and formatting guidelines for the Wiki

- Incorporate in USA and/or offshore (some concerns exist regarding need to register as a "money transmitter" if accepting donations to forward to a non-profit). - Once a functional proof-of-concept exists, approach SkimLinks to get specific approval for this platform and negotiate private agreement to auto-approve non-profits that sign up through our site.

Develop campaign targeting real-world merchants interested in accepting Bitcoin and using Bitcoin for promotional purposes. Find a way to use bitcoin paper bills as part of a coupon or advertising strategy. campaign targeting "armchair gold miners"; i.e. fans of Discovery Channel's 'Gold Rush Alaska'" - Identify other potential online ad campaigns and associated costs. - Develop and test pricing model and associated revenue expectations.

- Develop in-house affiliate system into the site and begin recruiting affiliates. - Begin announcing site(s) on niche-specific forums and building a reputation among the niche audience.

This concept requires virtually no up-front capital, and is capable of earning profits immediately upon making a sale. No waiting for Google or an affiliate network to pay out, no inventory held, profits able to be deposited in our bank account within a day of making a sale.

- Technical estimates of what development will be required and realistic development cost estimates.

JJ and his team have discussed this idea with several outside investors. Initial funding (up to ~$100k) available if the right tech team is in place. The guys who have developed this platform have spent years and years in the event/concert production business and are very familiar with what artists, producers, record labels etc want and how these groups have been used and abused by Ticketmaster.

- Develop affiliate relationships and identify highest paying advertising for our demographic.

- Develop affiliate program and identify additional advertising opportunities.

This one doesn't have a ton of profit potential, but is more of a passion project. There could definitely be enough revenue to support a few full-time salaries, but it isn't intended to be the next Cannabis Culture or High Times.
