Wine & Dine Middletown, PA

Welcome to Alfred’s Victorian Mansion located just south of Harrisburg

in scenic Dauphin County in Middletown, Pennsylvania for a delicious

luncheon. Relax and enjoy warm friendly service, and the beauty and

charm of this 1888 Victorian Brownstone Mansion. Decorated with an-

tiques, carved wood, gingerbread accents and other lush décor of the

period, Alfred’s Victorian Mansion has been serving Central Pennsylva-

nia for over 45 years and is listed on the National Register of Historic

Places. Following our luncheon, we take a leisurely drive to Mount

Hope Estate Winery & Shop in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Upon our arrival,

our knowledgeable winery host will guide us through seeing, sniffing,

swirling, sipping and savoring a tasting of selected Mount Hope’s wines.

Mount Hope began as the summer home for four generations of the

Grubb family, an early American immigrant family from England seeking

their fortune in America. Over the course of two centuries, Mount Hope

Estate and Winery, has grown from a private residence with grand for-

mal gardens surrounding the original Federal Period Mansion, stately

trees, an elaborate grand avenue of colored flowers and pillared en-

trances into a flourishing historic estate with a winery, Victorian wine

shop and is the host to spectacular on-site entertainment. Mount Hope

Winery returned its award-winning wine production to Lancaster County

in 2016 for the first time since 1980. Before departing for home, you will

have time to visit the gift shop for some last-minute shopping too. In

addition to Mount Hope’s award-winning wines, the shop offers a wide

selection of wine accessories, event souvenirs, children’s items and

gourmet food items for purchase.

Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations. Your
