The challenge
- Research is the responsibility of researchers not administrators
- Researchers at the University of Copenhagen are among the best researchers in the world – we know that
- null-researchers?
Most researchers (and others) gets only one original idea - normally before they are 30 years old: The trick is to reproduce it in a lifetime.
The University is often compared to a supertanker: it takes a while to redirect it.
The Research Information System is supposed to help finding the right direction through-making priorities on an informed background-Pointing out weaknesses and strenghts in research-Identifying potential-Plus a number of other buzzwords from NPM
In reality the university is more like a big number of tugs puling the university-vessel in all directions.
